I was disappointed with Day of the Jackal. Perhaps if I hadn't seen seen the 1973 movie???
Kinda lost me with that high rating of the live action airbender (accurate costumes?? Nah, they weren't even aged for wear, removed believability.) BUT I agreed with all other takes I have watched and you put me on shows I hadn't heard of and likely wouldn't have given a chance based on just title. I respect the varied tastes!

"From" could have been so good. But the characters especially the kid and family narrate and say everything that we see haha. Scene: crows acting strange in the sky.. Child "why are they crows acting like that?" Scene: funeral on the side of the road with cars and flat tires. Child "why are all the tires flat?" Local folk looking back at them as they exit their camper. Dad "why are they looking at us?"
Bad writing lol. The audience can see, the characters narrated each set of events. No thanks lol.
