The 1970s Best Sci-Fi Series

The 70s were full of great sci-fi that wasn’t Star Trek or Star Wars. This is one of the best.

  1. What's REALLY interesting is what happened in the second season of Glenn A Larson's next foray into science fiction, "Buck Rogers in the 25th Century". It was essentially "Battlestar Galactica" in reverse, with an Earth ship, the Searcher looking for the lost colonies of Earth.

  2. I was a freshman in college and all of us nerds would meet at the big projection TV in the student center to watch Battlestar Galactica. The student center had popcorn. It was like going to the movies but also similar to the weekly serialized radio dramas of old. We couldn't wait to tune in next week. Good times.

  3. A great premise for a show But thank God for the reboot, As a kid when I didn’t know any better, I thought it was great now apart from the three hour pilot movie Of the 70s the only Battlestar Galactica I have are the five seasons of the reboot show, Now that is Battlestar Galactica done properly, no boxy no Dagget, no ridiculous count Baltar your original Galactic Doctors Smith, Betraying them, every chance he got, and they didn’t blow his brains out, It’s all I can do to watch the original pilot film once every three or four years, and even then I have to be half drunk!
