Teen Gets Arrested At Her First Job
An 18-year-old grocery store employee was arrested for stealing over $2,400 by activating gift cards without payment between August and November. She admitted to also taking around $300 in cash and said she did it to buy food for herself and her younger sister due to a difficult home life. Despite her remorse and clean record, the store pressed charges, and she was trespassed and taken to jail on felony charges… here’s the full bodycam from the officers who responded.

You can't talk your way out of an arrest. It's best to announce you're exercising your right to remain silent and ask for a lawyer.

1:15 at that moment You are better off Telling the cops no you don't want to answer any questions Comply They will take you to jail then When you're at jail Don't talk to the detective do not talk to nobody (contact your lawyer) then explain what happened to your lawyer only

Y’all need to realize like if I was this girls employer I ain’t pursuing charges for shit. Like that’s what large corporations have insurance for. Bet your ass she’d be fired but I wouldn’t ruin her life because she can’t afford food for her sister.

People really need to teach their children you don’t have to talk to the police lol! Staying silent is 100% the best option until you’re at the station with your lawyer. She just singing, telling them everything on camera without hardly being pressed by police 🤦♀️

when you think your slick in thinking "oh I got away with it the 1st, 2nd and 3rd time" the people was watching you and collecting all the evidence they needed to finally get you permanently fired and arrested as well, then instead of accepting it and going to jail quietly she becomes a baby and starts to cry and wants her mommy. I like the fact that the business is pressing charges on her the idiot also when she was hugging her mom the look on the mom's face afterwards says it all, that she's had enough of this girl and probably told her many times that if you continue to go down this path you'll eventually get caught but I guess she didn't heed mom's warnings and karma caught up to her gg.
