  1. Make sure shivering. She used to do up to 5 min showers then went to cold lounge.
    Get cold water on face.
    Slow down breathing even to 6 deep breaths per minute or double Inhale then exhale.
    Breath through nose!

  2. For several months I tried taking cold showers, and I love the super warm feeling I had when I got out. I had two really bad experiences though as my lower back locked up, and went into spasms after the cold shower. And it took me at least a week to recover. Now I take hot showers, and it really relaxes the muscles in my back. But, that's just me

  3. Hace un par de años, realicé por un tiempo la rutina de la ducha diaria con agua fria. Fue cuestión de empezar a acostumbrarme. Desde 30" hasta 3' y creo que llegué hasta 5' con temperaturas ambiente de hasta 10°. Después lo dejé y me desacostumbré. Pero recuerdo que fue muy beneficioso para después de los entrenamientos duros. Así que será cuestión de volver a empezar. Como argentino que soy…me siento muy honrado y sorprendido a la vez que tomes mate. Te mando un abrazo y mis felicitaciones por tu dedicación y el canal, desde ya, un nuevo seguidor. 👍🤗🙋🏾‍♂️🇦🇷💪

  4. Actually, cold water makes the body generate heat from the inside – similar to the effect of a sauna, but much more effective. The repetitive increase body temperature gives you resistance to colds advanced.

  5. I'm always the one that warms up the bed, never got trouble with cold in the winter.
    But funny thing is I hate nothing as much as a cold shower…
    It is all about your body being confortable at some temprature and that is what is bad for you.
    While doctors don't fully understand it yet, they do know … ^ … and being at extreme tempratures no matter if it is hot or cold breaks that.
    I'm from the netherlands so there is 9 months of cold & wet weather anyway and maybe 1 month of hot.

  6. Thank you for that really informative and motivational report! I thought about starting cold-showers or dips since some time as I heared it can have pyhsical and psychical good effects. You put this all together so well, it's really motivational! In general I like your clips and information a lot, even though me as a 48yo gorilla have a way to go until I can do even parts of your fitness flows … 😀

    You're mentioning topics that really concern me personally (slow metabolism and easy infectiveness), sooo … my tomorrows shower will be turned to the left side and I will yell out my family, but … that will be their part when I'm doing something for my body xD

  7. Yep, I'm going to take the plunge. I'm just getting over major ham-string injury at the gym that happened two months ago. I'm hoping this will help the healing as well as provide all the other benefits you describe. I'm in! 🥶 You have GREAT looking skin by the way….
