Street Fight with a Boxer, Bad Idea?

Would a boxer always win in a street fight against a normal person? The fight will instantly be over if a boxer lands the first punch …

  1. If you're practicing or practiced martial art and had a decent amount of sparring, it already gave you an advantage in the street. Not every single time you run into an actual fighter. Most of the time it's just a swinging teen or intimidating bodybuilder..

  2. Boxer could switch off even several persons. But then surely after that would be sentenced for many years in jail when someone of opponents would severly damage head by falling on asphalt
    .

  3. Nobody wins in a street fight. That moment in time just establishes the jumping off point into an escalation to personal injury, "get back," legal difficulties, and senseless sadness and loss. Some boxing skills will help to stay safe, but it isn't boxing out there, no refs & no rules. This guy is ridiculous. Boxing sucks against a bigger (ok any) guy who gets hold of you, anyone kicking legs, hell, you're even money against a chick with a lead pipe. This dude is in for a rude awakening bringing his boxing, cuz anyone with sense god gave geese is bringing a bat with a 9mm for backup these days. Street fighting is stupid, but this idiot is STUPID.

  4. Boxed for 8 years done Muay Thai for 18
Did security for 10 I found a good teep in the chest usually worked better than throwing hands
If a situation couldn’t be talked down
Boxings great for your fundamentals and discipline but the ability to knee elbow kick clinch etc came in a lot more handy for me personally in street fights

  5. wrestling and some random punching and kicking (low kicks preferred) is just the best possible style for street fights
but if you are getting jumped by more than 2 People
kicking (low kicks) and random punching
    everything else is about strength

  6. Well he is right but remember one thing if you end up beating one guy in street fighting who attacked you or something then just dont stick around beat him up then gtfo of there 😅😅 because he is gonna have backup or if he is conscious he is gonna pull out a knife or something 😅

  7. Judo getting slammed on concrete is scary and I did wrestling boxing muythai and jiu jitsu. But did a semester in college judo and it gain my respect when I got slammed on my head. Super quick once and thought if this was on the street I would be dead. There’s a lot of judo moves that are fast slams

  8. So why don't boxers go and dominate MMA then, why didn't Mayweather go to UFC, what happened to James Toney in UFC, this guy is ignorant, MMA destroys boxers every time and he knows it, so he's a liar….💯

  9. Against a regular untrained person in a street fight, something like Judo is better than boxing. If someonne doesn't grab you to force a fight, there is no fight. If someone does grab you, it is hard to punch but the world is made of concrete and metal. Plus 99% of boxers will break their hand trying to punch barefisted, because they punch too hard and with incorrect technique.

I'd still say it's great to know boxing – but that's to avoid getting punched, not to fight back.

  10. defence is key when not competition fighting. learning pressure points and leverage and dodging. 2 years of taijitsu (takes elements from multiple martial arts) you learn taking advantage of weight/momentum/pressure against the attacker. partner this with learning to throw a decent punch and dodge your good to go.

  11. Muay thai and wrestling. This video was edited to mislead people. If you watch the full unedited video, you'll see the guy throws two low leg kicks that has the guy retreating. Not saying boxing wouldn't work. But a good low leg kick will have people thinking twice.
