  1. Outstanding guitar work. Great chops. I sure hope you have kept it up. I come from a musical family. My brother and I are the fourth generation of professional musicians in the family and my daughter is the fifth. She is an Opera Singer and vocal teacher here in Los Angeles. I play trombone and work with a band called The Gringos. Our name is the result of the success of Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass. But the band came back together after a 40 year hiatus thanks in part to the pandemic. I want to send you two of the bands most recent releases, one is titled Statesman and is about the Southern boarder mess and the other is called Walking in The Woods. Two completely different songs but two songs I think you will enjoy

  2. This would have worked well in Apocalypse Now during the Colonel Kurtz assassination montage… The Doors is obviously period correct, this just gave that same emotional range in my ear for some reason.

  3. I became hooked on listening to Dr. Turley’s intelligent comments for awhile now but was totally unaware of his background of being a rock solid guitar player. Wow! It totally blew me away. It makes me think about what else can he do.

  4. I didn’t realize you played guitar, but I was so distracted by you nails in a video I was watching and realized they were only long on one hand and looked up if you played guitar and ended up here. As a fellow musician (violin) I am forever looking at peoples hands
