If you wanna see some of the bigger ships like the Space Yacht, check out my other Star Citizen video from late 2022: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lbB6iG_yYm0
It's cool that they are starting to catch up with Rockstar games. 700 million is nothing to scoff at.
this will be the game that people upload their conscience to when they die
Can't beat Freelancer…
You have to give it to them, it's been a very successful scam so far providing some folks with a very comfortable life over the past decade. When is the new Duke Nukem gonna be released, btw? I've been waiting for quite some time now.
I have to admit that Star Citizen offers quite a bit of eye candy, though. If only there would be a final release before all the developers die of old age in a Florida retirement home.
The only thing we wont get before gta 6
It’s so refreshing that the teens will be far away from this game. They will remain on their gamey games where they can twitch around like maniacs with many Syndroms happening at the same time while crouch jumping and circle strafing their outer brain area inside. It’s really refreshing to see a game that doesn’t care for that crowd at all.
other players loot ur stuff?
How much did they pay you? 😲
so you can leave the planet and fly top a different one.. line other space games have been doing for over 10 years…
Biggest scam ever
Sunk Cost: Fallacy, the game.
700 million and ksp2 was less buggy and more complete 😂
This is basically taken from Elite.
I remember it from the early 90’s, my friend had an Amstrad computer and it was hypnotically addictive.
Especially while enjoying a fat one.
gaaayyyy
Purchased on the kickstarter 😅.. played on an off for the past decade. I really enjoyed when they just had a satellite with a few missions and then later when their was several planets. Game is one of the most beautiful games I've ever played. Try flying that mega slow trash hawler thing with 4 legs if you get a chance. 😅 I predicted game wouldn't come out till 2030 and we are well on our way to that date now 😜. Sadly dont have a machine good enough to play it atm, my 3050 laptop GPU just can't cut it…. I can't wait to play it again..
Why people dont just play no man skys or outer world or some? x)
700 million. I bought this gsme 10 years ago and I’m waiting to die of old age before I can play it. I never thought i bought a gsme for the NEXT generation humans.
I wanted this but medieval fantasy instead of space, R.I.P Chronicles of Elyria 😭
Thats money laudering…its simple as that
Are there orbital mechanics? Does not look like that. So what makes this a sim?
I am looking forward to playing this during my retirement in 27 years, I hope it launches by then!
this would be a fun game but i couldn’t even play it due to all the bugs and how poorly optimized this game is
Just play no mans sky
Seems like a cash grab??
MACROTRANSACTION, not micro.
I used to be a drinker and would spend several thousand dollars every year on booze, I now spend only about $200 per year on SC ships.
I think playing Star Citizen is better for my health and for my wallet.
So true. I bought the game ten years ago and THEY ARE STILL WORKING ON IT ! Games are passing this by with better graphics now . I can't believe they are blowing this much money . They are scammin at this point . Do the devs have sports cars and Mansions at this point ? Yes. Donations have paid for 12 years of vacation time , Bills , Food and everything people have wanted in their lives but they have NOT COMPLETED THE GAME . lol Crazy.
I've lost interest in it. I'm sure it'll be cool, but it's so disjointed in enabling possibility that it has lost sight of the need to create a gaming experience. At this point, I really just wish they'd make Eve 2
I had to nope out at the it takes a long time to travel somewhere. Seriously, there is a reason nobody builds realism into retail space sims, because who has this kind of time?
Thesedamn whales are killing game for the rest of us..its the reason starcitizin isnt finished yet because the devs dont have to and this might spread on other games iin the future cause companies see that they can get that money if they want…its like an instruction for superscam …makes me angry
It will never come out. What benefit would it have for them if it’s constantly bringing in money.
Good review. I like the emphasis on needing to '…make your own fun…'. This is where I think that having an innate and pre-existing interest in sci-fi, space, astronomy, astrobiology, futurism, can be fodder for these games. If anyone here has heard of the program called "Space Engine", that is most definitely NOT a game, it's a simulator and it could be seen as an utterly bland one at that. But again, if you can bring some of your own imagination with you, you can fill in the voids and make it more of an experience than it might otherwise be.
PS: Fascinated to know what specs rig you're playing this on to get what looks like solid graphics and performance?
4:20 "Starfield" …. "where loading is a second or two" Bruh…
Star Citizen, the game that brings down any good CPU to its knees.
No cuts no edits, continues to move the camera around constantly
