  1. The way she talks about Matt's wife, please. Either she pretended to be friends with her for years, in which case she's a disingenuous pos, or they really were friends and now she's completely dissing her and pretending they weren't, in which case she's an even bigger disingenuous pos. Start of stream "he wouldn't blame his wife for something she didn't say", midstream "he might have just blamed he for it", come on. I know this is called the simpcast but please guys, have SOME dignity at least.

Meanwhile, Matt is doing a stream at the same time and being super respectful despite everything. I'm watching this because it's like a live train crash, but it's really embarrassing coming from a 30+ year old mother of two.

  2. 10 minutes in and you still haven't gotten to the point. I only put this on because I heard that Blonde was talking crap about Matt on this podcast , but I think I can live without that knowledge.
Protip: Either lose the intro entirely or make it significantly shorter.

  3. Both of them handled that poorly. I understand both sides to a point.

    Blonde should have accepted 60-40
Matt should allow Blonde to pick topics
Matt was a dick with the foot thing I was listening to him and asking wtf
He was frustrated with her effort
She was frustrated with the topics

I don't understand that apology thing. For what? Breastfeeding her baby that need to be breastfed.

But he was not a big dick on that stream. He was more balanced and even defended Blonde on couple of occasions. He feels betrayed but the have Blonde praise for her work when she was on her level.

    I wouldn't call him unfair.

We all expected you to part ways more cordially and I think community deserved it. You were that kind of show.

  4. It’s really not as complicated as Matt’s fans are making it. Every issue they have with Rebecca was caused by a prior issue she kept private for the fans well being. Now that she’s finally sharing it they are refusing to actually listen to her.

A normal person would not want to come on the show and submit one last time to the handler to look nice after being hurt for so long and be manipulated into doing it “for the fans” which is code for “making sure I can still receive money after running you out of my business”.
The fact Matt is playing dumb now and trying to look noble and meek and praise her and speaking soft to curry favour while blonde is being honest and even criticising herself and and Matt’s past shows her integrity and compassion.

Matt cropped his messages to hide the parts that make him look bad. She was betrayed prior for years. She was done respecting the unusual and controlling behaviour of Matt and his wife. And Matt refusing to own up to it is why she was a justified in not dignifying his show one last time. What she did honours her fans by honouring the truth and morality.

If you cannot understand the insanity of Matt demanding that blonde not at all comment in the chat while also claiming he does not understand why she’s not there, then there’s no helping you.

  5. Blonde is making it sound like Matt just set up a stream especially to diss her, but it was his regular slot that she was invited to. The audience deserved a proper explanation and they have that kind of candid relationship with their audience. Also, Matt doesn't want to just let the show, and his major income stream die.

  6. Blonde has a husband to float her so if the podcast fails she'll be okay. Matt is the sole provider for his family. Of course he is more invested and driven to make the show a success. Seeing Blonde revert to factory settings over this is disappointing but expected.

  7. I seem to be the only person watching this who started off completely on matt's side and blonde's behind the scenes information actually made me come around more toward her

  8. Interview and/or invite the following to Simp Cast: Vara Dark, Sage Steele, Alex Zedra. Also, please have Lilly Gaddis, Leonarda Jonie, Tiffany Fong, and Nina Infinity return.

  9. Blonde clearly cared more about the implied accusation of being a hypochondriac and over reacting to her foot injury than any of the money and division of labor stuff. As Blonde has noted several times, Matt is almost autistically principled and lacks emotional intelligence. If he had more of a heart and more empathy I think it could have been worked out.

Matt seems to be really stressed out about the financial side of it due to being burned by the Tenet media deal. He wanted to have a financially successful podcast and he felt that Rebecca wasn’t pulling her weight to make that happen. That’s a valid concern, but it seems like he treated Rebecca strictly as a business partner rather than as one of his closest and most valued friends.

I wish nothing but the best for Matt and Rebecca and I hope that one day they are able to apologize to one another for how it all went down. It makes me so sad to know that they may never speak again. 😢
