Fantastic game for sure, the best FPS since FEAR
Great game and not easy at all. The limited ammo is the one drawback for me. Ok that and getting lost and not always knowing where to go to open up another area or level.
You should check out Siren, it's a free total conversion for gzdoom that reminds me a lot of system shock, and in a weird way, cave story.
I'm getting strong Shogo: Mobile Armor Division vibes of this one!
This is my game of the year – if not the decade so far.
is this types of mods that makes me see even more of how amazing the modding community is and how important they are to videogames, amazing game and thanks for showing this one.
Man triple A studios must be embarrassed when they see stuff like this
These young kids don’t know what they missed
I only play classics on my series s I love them grew up on them got no time for up to date gaming the games of this era our just polished graphics nothing special but the old games have atmosphere and everything and the pixel graphics awesome
Could use some questmarkers. Im so lost in this game
Bro play this game with the Dolby Atmos 71 surround sound codec from Microsoft and it will blow your f**** mind
Would 100% play it only for its another game with another female character
#1 issue I'm having with Selaco is constantly getting lost. I'm currently studying up on how to read the map better to see where I've been and need to go and marking the map. I'm determined to figure this out.
The violet blood ruins it all and it does not run on macs.Sad.
Oh yeah, I'm following this one for a long time already. But I hate early access, got burned too much on it, so I'll wait for the full game to be out & an XBox port.
Played through Selaco after having it put on my radar by this video.
Let me say, I'm blown away. Pre-release and STILL more polished than most games releasing.
The enemy AI seemed very advanced and challenging, the graphics are pretty (especially in HDR), the puzzles are fun and adequately difficult without being senseless like some "puzzles" are.
Guess-and-check trial-and-error stuff is NOT a puzzle, it's trash XD there needs to be SOME indication of what to do or where to go, and Selaco delivers.
Back around 2005/2006, I remember I used to love playing Criterion's Black and to a lesser extent, FEAR by Monolith. Those two games made it fun just to fire a gun at nothing in particular. This video reminds me of those two games; I want this to be good. Haven't bought an FPS in years
This is what Viscera Cleanup Detail was made for 😅
Is this teardown but as a shooter?
Cool video, but I definitely think the Doom comparisons are overblown. It uses a modified GZDoom engine but it's very much a FEAR inspired game, not a Doom one.
Is it full 2D?
brutal doom is great, if anyone is interested in a cool zdoom experience.
indie developers are gems. and i do pay what they ask
Visually it feels like more something coming from Ken Silverman (Build Engine?).
I never played the classic Dooms, so no nostalgia, but I really enjoy the classic Dooms and games building up that framework/taking inspiration.
Its funny how the old Doom games were clearly built around technological limitations, but they created just a really, really fun thing. And how low budget games can be so visually nice, even complex stuff like destruction, which tripple A studios would spend tens or hundreds of millions of dollars on.
When GZDoom tech has become "classic Doom tech"???????
Id love to see more games like this
I love the thump sound of the gun
Game is simply unreal.
will it be released on consoles ?
This looks amazing! Really hoping they implement some kind of online play.
Yeah, this is nuts
I don't like its anime style.
What an incredible looking and sounding game. I did not even realize the characters and guns where sprites. I can't wait to see how this game develops.
I'm not sure about this game. The enemies look boring and I don't like how the screen shakes and gets really busy when you shoot your weapon.
Strongly reminds me of Brutal Doom mod.
Too bad it's just another "strong female badass" killing everything in the room. Not going too far out on the limb by assuming lefty devs.
Selcaco does not have 'transparent' textures with floors underneath. Turning on reflections in this game doesn't build geometry.
Also, things outside of memetracing exist. And they work well and cost 99% less of the cost. Learn about planar reflections.
Nothing special after modern game like Control. The design looks like vomit.
