  1. The commenter's covered many missing series, but there are a bunch of them that were missed, including Viper, The Man from Atlantis, Otherworlds, Sliders, The Phoenix, Voyagers!, Automan, The Tripods, Small Wonder, Starman, Logan's Run, Quantum Leap, Future Cop, ARK II, Mann & Machine, Time Trax, Earth II, TekWar, Farscape, and a favorite pilot called Condor.

  2. **Hard Time On Planet Earth
    **Tremors the series
    **The original V
**Buck Rogers in the 25th Century
    **Terra Nova
    **Special Unit 2
    **Firefly of course!
    **OtherWorld
    **A Man Called Sloane
**The original Battlestar Galactica not the crappy remake they made.
**And for Andromeda I would have chosen the clip where Dylan Hunt says plan b always sucks!

  3. Roughnecks: Starship Trooper Chronicles – 40 animated episodes. War between earth and the bugs as seen from one group of starship troopers. Each week the troopers were on a different planet. Last week the bugs were found on Earth. The last episode showed the bugs preparing for a big invasion. They said the final battle – the battle for Earth was about to begin. Clancy Brown – sgt Zimm from the movie, reprised his role for the series. He even became a member of the Roughnecks for the last episodes of the series.
Invisible Man (2000) – Darien Fawkes thief with a heart gets sentenced to jail for burglary/attempted murder( he tried to give CPR to a victim who caught him during a botched burglary/had a heart attack. His brother got him out of jail to try a gland that could render him invisible. Gland had a defect / would drive Darien/anyone insane without regular injection. He works for a low budget government agency. Eventually the defect causing the madness is fixed. Series was cancelled after 2 seasons. Note that producers and Sci Fi channel both agreed the series should have continued. Producers wanted 2 more seasons, Sci Fi only wanted 1. They couldn’t agree so the series got cancelled after 2 seasons.

  4. One mistake. The Questor Tapes was a Roddenberry pilot tv movie that never made it to series. None of his 70s tv movies did. Which is why he threw up his hands and did Star Trek TNG in the 80s. Its only after his death that the Roddenberry ideas Andromeda and Earth Final Conflict became series after the watchful eye of his wife.

  5. Mantis was Sci Fi in the same way most superhero films are. Mantis was so painful, such blatant pandering to get the African American demographic. With the black panther movies, you got something similar, but at least it was set in Africa etc. so it is a little more believable than mantis in the US with his African tribal women entourage.

  6. Is there a similar list for scifi shows on air in the mid-to late Seventies? I saw some episodes of what undoubtedly really low budget series about aliens who attempted to help humans by applying their tech to solve problems of health and transport. Unfortunately, none of those worked well. Cures for diseases produced new, worse conditions. Attempts to teletransport tore apart bodies and failed to reassemble them properly. There must have been more. The aliens were called something like Drylons, and were anemic looking. Does anybody recognize this?

  7. You missed the Canadian classic "Forever Knight". And another short-lived series, "Stingray", a freelance 'troubleshooter/problem-solver"who only asked people for a later favor as payment for his help. He had a very nice black Corvette Stingray, and went by the name Ray.

  8. MANTIS: Loved Mantis! Shame no one has tried to bring it back.
Loved that he had a flying car.

Dracula: Wow! That guys Dracula accent tells me why I never heard of this one

Manimal: They needed to do an Avengers with all these late 70s/80's super hero TV shows: have him team up with Auto man and Exoman.

  9. Mantis was a reboot of the idea in the 1977 failed pilot movie Exo-Man (which I do not think you have talked about yet). Better done I agree, like Gemini-Man was a retool of The Invisible Man.
As usual, you have some forgotten gems but Andromeda has a large and active following to this day. Keep up all of your great work.

  10. Hi, I don't know if you've covered it anywhere previously, not that I've come across yet, but the end of 90's tv show, 'Seven Days', where some US researchers find an alien power source & become able to go back in time,…….7 days,.. to reset from bad events & save the world in each episode.
