Samurai Sword Attack Turns Deadly | Kentucky Murder & Police Chase

On February 5, 2024, deputies responded to a call at a home on Indian Ridge Road in Falls of Rough. When officers arrived, they were met with a brutal scene, discovering multiple victims following an attack involving a samurai-style sword.
Investigators later identified the suspect as George T. Greer, who allegedly attacked three individuals inside the residence. During the incident, 59-year-old Teresa Boles was killed, while two others were seriously injured and required medical treatment.
According to police, Greer fled the scene in a stolen vehicle, setting off a pursuit that quickly expanded across multiple jurisdictions. As the situation unfolded, he allegedly stole additional vehicles, broke into another home to change clothes, and continued attempting to evade officers both on the road and on foot.
The manhunt came to an end when the vehicle he was driving became stuck in a field. From there, officers were able to take him into custody after a short foot chase.
Greer was booked into the Grayson County Detention Center and now faces multiple serious charges, including murder, attempted murder, burglary, and fleeing law enforcement. His case remains ongoing, with pre-trial proceedings scheduled as the court process continues.
