  1. Joe & Roy were great boxers but I believe that since Roy moved up in weight and back down as he aged and took more damage that is why he wasn’t as effective when he was older. Joe retired undefeated which is awesome.

  2. I've seen a couple fights of Joe's and to be honest, not terribly impressed. He won, but I don't know. Thought he should've put away Roy Jones. I know others here have watched probably every fight of his so they have a better idea and I'm probably wrong but a lot of the punches I saw had a cumulative effect but really didn't have that snap that I would expect.

  3. Joe C is so eager and loose a prime RJJ would have finished him off after that knockdown, and I dread what a prime J Toney would have done JC!An inevitable atrrocity! I respect his bravery and eagerness to mix it,but against all time greats that's akin to suicide! A good fighter no doubt, but great is a stretch.

  4. Roy Jones Jr was levels above Floyd Mayweather at the peak of boxing in the 2000’s era. During that time Floyd was just another good fighter and during the later part of his career created a brand around himself. Roy took on the biggest challenges and fought everyone in every weight class which blemished his record but also made him a true legend and not just a clout chaser.

  5. Calzaghe was so over rated. They used to talk about Chavez’s record and fighting a bunch of nobody’s. That’s how Joe built his record and regardless of him fighting Jones at 39 and him at 36, jones was way past his prime when he was unbeatable.
