THE BOTTOM LINE: Whether you have 5,000 gold, 500 gold, or even just 5 gold bars, everybody loses with these new changes (except for Take Two's income statement). Everyone will be making less gold and why should ANYONE cheer that on? Simply saying Take Two and Rockstar are businesses and that it makes sense for them is a weak response. For Take Two reporting Red Dead Online is outperforming expectations quarter after quarter and recurrent consumer spending in RDO being up 96% this quarter, this cant be seen as anything other than a cash grab and it should be received by the fans and players as such. I encourage you to write a message to Rockstar saying that these new changes are unacceptable. Who cares if their decision is final. There is noting dignified about rolling over, accepting whatever comes your way and saying nothing about it. There’s a feedback page for Red Dead Online. Use it. I only recently started playing so I assumed this is just how the game is. Knowing this now kind of makes me want to uninstall because these predatory tactics are just disgusting.
Should be the players choice on how they make money, if they want to keep a streak going for however long and just pop in do a daily get off or grind out the game. Not everyone in the world has the time to grind the game or finds grinding a game to be fun for some it sucks the fun right out of it. And I don't think a triple A company were losing any money, I'm sure they got money to wipe their ass with.
Crybaby's. They were giving way too much gold. Selling gold is the only way for them making money. So obviously they had to nerf it.
I played for 2 hours and got 3 gold and $1000 by doing bounties and moonshine sales without daillies. Now its way more balanced.
I feel like this is only a huge blow to people who sweat the game. It’s crazy you say this ruined the game and will stop people from playing it and yet you just made a video about them breaking records 😂 just sounds like a gripe.

A bit melodramatic aren't we? If this is a change you'd quit over, you probably weren't enjoying the game enough anyways. Hardly a change to be up in arms over as progression is already quick enough as it is. Boo hoo that your "286 day streak" was reset and now you lost your "bragging rights." As if RDO gave you enough shit to spend it on. Doesn't do much when it's just sitting on your character.
How about instead of starting a goddamn riot over something so trivial, complain about real issues with the game. Hackers are incessant and populate nearly every lobby, yet people are bitching about losing the ability to generate 500 gold bars a day… and yet there's nothing to spend them on…
I played the whole day and only got 3.5 gold bars 😂 Then I saw some fucking 40 gold license, a table for 15 gold, a fucking shirt for 10 gold, a fucking horse for another 44 gold, man, I'll need a whole year just to start playing, I asked for a refund, this is crazy af.
I do appreciate not being hooked to the game anymore. Today makes 1 month since I've played rdr. Their loss.

I just don't see the justification in ruining this game? Why not have 2 cash cows instead of one? Remember the good ole days when someone with something cool earned it? Or when games were FINISHED when they released? They spent so much money to make this game, then throw it all away. So what was the point all along? why waste time developing a game when your gonna half ass it? Seems like a poor business strategy for a company that wants to utilize their leverage in the stock market.. it just doesn't make sense financially, we say its greed but is it?
Yeeeaaa…. it's not that serious? 🤨 I actually want them to reset cause it gives me something to work towards again. The only thing I don't agree with is then cutting daily gold payouts by 50%.

RDR2 in my eyes will always be an Singleplayer Experience, and Rockstar needs to start focusing on that aspect of the game.
Like i always say you make too much money or gold in the game without paying them rockstar will cripple it or flat out remove it/make it even more grindy so you give them money
