i think the problem for them is that even though there are ways to check and restrain the powers of the relevant nations potential new leader if they dont like them… they dont want the position to lose power. they want all that power for themselves so acting as a properly functioning system checking and reigning in the nations leader is against what they actually want because they want to abuse power and overreach themselves.
they only resort to this other stuff when they lose and even then the prefer to tear down the sitting leader they dont like in an effort to not weaken the position more than they'd like

Bruxelles didn't cancel our election, our court did(also it was the first tour by the way, we have 2, so not the completed election, man was never elected president, you're making fraudulent claims) when they had reason enough to believe there was election interference, you ppl scoff at Russia like they don't try to sabotage everything in the region, like they don't put millions each year in sabotage, like unit 29155 isn't a thing. George Simion is a hooligan, a bully and a trickster, his party's legacy is intimidation by force or of other nature, stealing votes from the dead, lies and propaganda. this man said he'd build homes for 35k euros, gathered signatures from people, gave them hope, led them on and then said it was just a marketing campaign to boost them in the ratings. he told a female colleague in Parliament he would sexually assault her, its on tape. a week later after this video was published – "right wins in bla bla" he lost because you have no common sense when you make an article or video to inform yourself about the laws and customs of a place, man placed first in the first tour, but he did not grab the majority, the other candidates together did and then lost in the second tour. i've had enough of people clumping all the right candidates together like they're all the same(share the same ideas, just because they say they do like these people wouldn't say anything to grasp an ounce of power) and that by them winning you all win . this is what being intellectually dishonest is, what is your doctorate in? misionformation and propaganda? you are a grifter seeking crums from a dishonest ideology, this trend will end as well.
By cancelling the election, they just give more spotlight to the one they try to destroy. What happen on our previous Government in a small state of India and this were very similar in spirit. The current government at that time disqualified one of our MLA and he won by a large margin on the next bye election. And the absolute irony is that he is now our sitting Chief Minister of state. 😂
