  2. Sir – Thank-you very much for your service in Vietnam.

You and others that served in Vietnam are considered true heroes.

    Welcome home and God bless!!!

  3. you see…vietnamese are very friendly people and americans go there and masacre the people? killed them and left?..what a kind of people….but today americans called world police? tsk tsk tsk…

  4. Thank you, John and Sioux, for sharing your memories of Vietnam with us. It's very touching to see the images of the two of you hands in hands tracing John's own footsteps as a young and brave soldier risking his life to fend off communist aggressors in a country so unfamiliar, so far away from home. We can't thank you enough for your service and your sacrifice, John and Sioux. We wish both of you good luck and peace and continuing happiness in your golden years!

  5. lmao a lot different from the black & white photos of Vietnam I've got that my dad took of Vietnam in the aushaw valley back in 68&69 my how times have changed love & miss ya dad

  6. Thank you very much. I got to see Hue and Danang and Cam Rahn Bay in '71 and also Taiwan. We were in An Khe and Ban Me Thuot and Phu Bai. Don't think I would like to go back. Our own gov lost that war for us. We murdered a duly elected President of Vietnam and the Communists are still persecuting the Catholics and others. It's all to make big money for the elite with slave labor. Poor Vietnamese people. Would like to see Taiwan again though!

  7. It's great to see and compare what it looked like before and now. Thank You for sharing your memories. Great job with the editing. I'm glad to see both of you having a great time. Bruce Tran.

  8. This is an incredible video. I've never seen anything like this. It makes one wonder what the war was all about. The before and after photos , in particular, were very moving. That seen of the Navy ships on the beachheads near the 17th parallel contrasted with the quiet scene today was pretty amazing. I loved the way you framed the beginning an end of the film with early photos of John and Sioux. Suggestion: You should publish a book that show your before and after shots. Thanks for sharing this great documentary. Jim Doti
