  1. Pretty cool project.
    I wonder if at this scale fire hazard from potentially faulty batteries increases significantly enough where it would also be worth having a fire suppression system?
    And in terms of maintenance, I wonder if charging system with intelligent controller for all devices would benefit longevity of the phone batteries?

    Obviously I don't have enough data to say either of those things are worth adding for the cost of complexity.

  2. I mean this is more of a show than practical, but I understand that he might wanted it like this or its just for good content. It more practical to make it store the phones flat and to sort it by manifacture( btw I like the online one as well, but its just simpler to make) and to reduce the friction between the wood and phone you can use some fabric so it slides better.

  3. Amazing work! Thanks for sharing. The next issue to takle will be how to dust this whole thing… when not in use, I would cover it with a curtain or some other solution to keep the dust away, but it is a really mild issue to deal either way compared to how this project turned out.
    Great work!
