Vader/Anakin was a fundamentally broken person. When no one intervened to help him 'deal with his stuff', he did what so many do, he lashed out.
everything this dweeb says is horseshit. psychopathy doesn't exist. psychiatry is a pseudoscience built to defend the status quo. never trust a psychoanalyst.
oh boy.
Frank Booth in real life would have been put down a long time ago…
There is also the reverse seasonal depression stalker who becomes depressed because he's got one less hour of stalking time
Psychiatry is pseudoscience. These people are quacks.
I wish he had of done, "Girl Interrupted"
Does anyone else think this dude looks a little like Matt Smith?
What a thing to say, not everyone with a mental illness will be dangerous but all the way hes talking about antisocial personality disorder makes it sound like they will be always violent, a "monster", etc etc
Things are going well today.
Would love to know how GQ vetted this guy? Seems very speculative/nonscientific
Thank you for this. This video was so interesting to watch!
Mental illness is very rarely associated with violence?! Did he just say that?
Annie Wilks is the OG Stan
🤔 This is really fascinating and useful, but what can we do if we ever encounter such a person like any of these? Especially the ones who refuse to go away?
Hannibal Lechter will always be the scariest psychopath ever.
Apparently, I have had different type of stalking happen to me. Great.
Are billionaires psychopaths?
I thought he is the new superman. Can patient in love with the physiatrist?
I feel like Anakin/ Darth Vader is kind of a sociopath. Not a psychopath but most likely he is a sociopath.
BLUE VELVET MENTIONED!!!
Thats creepy lol
So, if psychopaths can't feel regret retrospectively then they can never be made 'safe' by experiencing consequences for their actions? Like being put in prison, or something.
This dude looks so much like Matt Smith
Arent we buily by some bit of things??
im reading misery lol
Watch waitress
That is the best example I have of the oz syndrome/codependent psychosis
It's creepy
Thank the stars that made me… He analyzed Frank Booth!
What's clark kent doin
Aren’t all psychopaths on a spectrum of narcissism
Ive known a diagnosed phsycopath. Anaiken in star wars is most likely because they arent aware and make excuses
He has shoulder pads, but look at the single-buttoned portion of his coat etc.. He's way too slim. Dude has problems himself
psychopaths are not real and neither are the plots of movies. The fact that you can apply it to fictional characters is all the more proof that it is merely a name to call people who you want to take down a peg and not something that really exists.
Silly, these aren’t real people 😅
Does obsession always or typically follow stalking?
For sure a disturbance within the force.
Psychopaths in movies? I think you HAVE to include Seven here!
Anakin is an incel.
Matt Smith???
Those weren't just any younglings they were terrorists and traitors to the Republic
at 15:32 i felt so attacked when he said psychopaths want something out of a relationship, its about them, then he specifically says "maybe they wanna be a father and they will look for someone who wants to have children"💀, i guess ima psychopath confirmed
Not sure Anakin should be in this list considering his background and the manipulation he underwent by Palpatine
You know what is really scary that I've just realised? How Patrick Bateman's monologue sounds exactly like an alpha bro grindset video.
Also, thank you for being nice about BPD people and explaining that they aren't all scary, violent monsters. There's so much hate out there and not a lot of understanding.
1:12 Jeffrey Dahmer was a sociopath not a psychopath
It's a misconception that psychopathy is a personality disorder. It's not. It's a disorder of emotional perception, which causes the psychopathic personality to grow. Compare to sociopathy, in which the environment molds the personality into a sociopath. Sociopathy is a personality disorder, psychopathy is a personality formed by erroneous perception of the environment. The environment being the stimulus both sensory and emotional.
Blue Velvet one is so horrifing
The psychiatrist looks like he should be playing Jonathan Crane aka Scarecrow. Of course he knows what he's talking about.
I wonder what would change about his analysis of Annie Wilkes if he knew or added in the fact that she murdered infants and got off at trial.
