  1. If I were the supervisor of the store, I’d quickly build a petting zoo outside and make a few kids happy. And if that doesn’t work, there’s always the bonfire and rotisserie option

  2. Wait what? The Texas Sheriff's office has a livestock unit? And there's actually A LAW that only they are allowed to pick up goats? Really? 😀 So pets go to a local rescue place but livestock is handled by the sheriff's office? That's… interesting.

  3. Poor goats. I doubt their future is….long.
Goats are really nice, smart and funny. They are famous for their friendly calm personalities. They are so amiable, that they're used to keep other animals calm and happy. People will put a goat in with a nervous horse, as this almost always soothes the horse and the goat doesn't freak out or get scared of the giant anxious horse.

My father lived for a while in the BVI, I'd go to visit him from time to time. Goats, packs of them, trotted all around the capital town. They're good climbers, so you'd often see them standing on the tops of cars or trucks, on roofs, in trees.

They're very cute, with those long ears flopping on either side of their face.

  4. 50 years ago we had twin goats named Billy and Helen. They are every bit as good pets as dogs, but if you tell them to fetch, they'll laugh at you and say, "why?" Also the best lawnmowers/scrub brush cleaners for your property. Rent a goat! The only reason I don't have a pygmy goat as a pet in our city house is that all my GF's houseplants and flowers would disappear in a week! And all my 'special' plants, too.
