Wow I am really surprised that that dog is being so Chill, I guarantee you if they came up to me and tried to arrest me while I had my dog, it would be very very bad, Even the second someone else tried to grab her leash, she will Bark Bark Bark Growl Growl Snap Snap. She is immensely protective over me. Unless I told her to "stop sit stay" Gave the command "Break" She would attack them and it would be an entire shit show and they might try to kill her. She is viciously protective over me, she does not like people coming near me, and she will not let them, she thinks they will hurt me. It actually is her job to protect me, but she doesn't know to distinguish between police and other people. If I get worked up or excited or upset, she will pick up on that, and there is a very good chance someone is getting bit! Even when I had her in the truck and an officer pulled me over, I had to keep very chill and put her leash on her and tie it to the passenger side arm rest so she would not jump at the officer. She snarled and showed her fangs and barked at him a lot though. the officer stepped back and I gave Sapphire a series of commands. She immediately stopped and laid down. That officer knew I had her under my control.
I thought a requirement of trespass was remaining on the property after being asked to leave. Definitely correct me if I'm wrong but from what I understand the police can ask but cannot require you to help them with a trespass if you have left when asked to do so. Maybe it's different in this state though.
