To me, DOGE is just auditing. Businesses get audited every day by the IRS to make sure they aren't misappropriating funds. Albeit because they want to make sure they are getting all of their monies owed them, but it's the same concept. If I'm to continue paying taxes locally, state wise, or federally, I should have a complete account of where my money has gone. Government has gotten waaaaaaaaaaaaaay to big and has been hiding it's illegal and evil deeds for decades. I can't just blame it on the left or the right. We need and have a right to accountability. Otherwise, why should I be required to show my accounting records? For too long we have been lied to and deceived. EVERYONE NEEDS TO BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE!!!!!!!!!!!
