Thank you for posting this. Previously when trying to recall this show and search for it I kept getting The Fantastic Journey, which was fun but frustrating too as not what I was trying to remember.
You gotta admit, this was pretty terrible. I will say the premise seems like the inspiration used for Stargate, the movie.
How many seasons and episodes did it last❓️🤔🧐
Ford Tempo, I had a 93 at one time.
This came out during a period in my life when I rarely watched television and knew nothing about the trends.
I'm checking it out
Seems like it would be a tell that something's not right when the guide at the pyramids has a Hindi accent.
Cool! It's always of interest to me to see the old commercials….I didn't watch TV for a long time, so I missed out on that era! 😊
But even w/o ads, this has that 80s flavor, for sure …
BTW: Parents shouldn't lead their kids off into unknown at night even if there's a full moon, especially into a desert with no way to carry water.
Oh right, I saw this a few years ago….
I feel like there is a occult metaphorical story being played out in the intro, rebirth from the city with the obelisk, rebirth from the waters, the sun, the Illuminati eye…
$10 for 1 hour international call lol
Totally addicted to this TV series back when I was in college.

Fantastic. I wish they would release this on DVD for real. The one I have is also taken from VHS tapes. Petition!

I never thought I'd ever see this again!
Mike
Well it never made it to the UK
4:03 That made me laugh. 😂
27:01 He reminds me of a real life Ned Flanders.
Thank you for sharing. I quite enjoyed it. It's a shame it didn't take off; I wondered what caused that.
Love is the creator of Light
Did any of the actors from this show go on to make it big?
I really enjoyed this t v series
It's hard to believe now that as a 13 year old I loved this show because it really seems dumb now. I was so disappointed when it just stopped being shown. I used to watch it on a little 19" black and white TV with a knob that turned to change the station.
Sam Groom (Hal Sterling) appeared in some other science-fiction television productions. He played Jerry, a technician, in 5 episodes of Irwin Allen's The Time Tunnel (1966~1967) TV series. He then co-starred in the Irwin Allen TV-movie/pilot Time Travelers (1976) as Dr. Clint Earnshaw.
The commercials left in are a nice touch.
Hey, it's Mike!
