I waited for 1/2 the movie to get going, ten started time jumping to figure out when the action started, which of course, never did. I actually entered into the search box "please give me some good scifi that isn't AI, and this was what I got! Like the man said…this is an hour and 27 minutes you will never get back!
Where's the other half of the movie… that's what it feels like. Like we watched a movie that isn't finished.

The movie is called Watch the Sky. It was made in 2017. It tells a good story, but has a crappy, ridiculous ending.
There has to be a part 2. There is no way the movie ends the way it seems too.

Not much in the way of special effects, a little bit at 10:44, and other places, and we hit paydirt at 1:09. The 1969 to 1971 Ford Bronco is great to see. This production went overboard with the dramatic music. Was it synthesized, or from a music library? I didn't read any music credits. An unresolved ending to this movie, was it a pilot for an unsold tv series? Two and a half stars out of five stars, at best.
Not bad at all. I have seen a lot of B movies and this has to be one of the best.
There were just 2 scenes I would class as C grade.
First the mob scene, not all men are so dumb as to shout like that so that no one can understand where the anger comes from.
And second, how could there be so many stars in the sky, and not a sign of a whisper of a cloud, when the boy and his mum are star gazing at meteorites?
Can someone please cough up the name of the movie?
I guess the producers ran out of money.
A pathetic attempt to make the ending somewhat cryptic. Maybe the Director thought to make it look like a David Lynch movie.
