  1. I've seen thousands of police videos, and 9/10 they never, NEVER take back stop into consideration….NEVER. I know the situation is high stress, but being the good guy means everything is against you, especially in a firefight.

  2. I have deep sympathy to the parents of the child. And the officer after realizing what he did. He never meant to do that. There was nothing that could of prepared him for that. ❤

  3. Seems like any police arriving to a call about an erratic suspect with a warrant for a domestic dispute should probably be arriving with stocked medical equipment. The fact they were struggling so hard to find gauze… there could be better preparation/training in this case. 44 shots fired for a suspect point blank and one hitting a 3 year old girl across the street… It feels like some of this was avoidable…

  4. It’s not the Wild West! Cops have become more concerned with their own safety than the public! Backwards logic! Not one thought about innocent people in nearby areas! Most cops have terrible weapon discipline! I hope that babies family sue the crap out those pigs! Americans are getting tired of cops behaving however they want with zero consequences! Do better! Stop effing the public over! They’re so afraid of getting hurt but have zero problem hurting others! 13:37 and that part pisses me off! How about tears for the innocent baby that one of the cops killed?!

  5. I know this was a very bad shooting. And I do agree police officers need better training. That isn’t some sort of diss or “I hate cops they’re shit” I simply think they aren’t given enough training. Also think blaming police officers won’t fix anything. You can be sitting on your couch and a car can go flying through your wall and kill you. Unfortunately bad Shit happens and these police officers know they fucked up and probably think about those 2 innocent lives that were taken everyday. Bulletproof glass isn’t going to do anything. Less money to other countries more money to protecting our people whether it’s more money into studies, more money in general into our medical. Better training and better pay for first responders ect.

  6. Scrolled the comments quickly and didn't see anyone say it, so I will. This is going to ruffle some feelings, but it needs to be said.

If you are a law enforcement officer, you MUST train your hard skills to a professional level- which includes PT, and in this case, shooting skills.

Regardless of your side or take on this, a stray bullet fired from the officer killed a 3 year old who wasn't in any way involved in the incident. And I'm going to guess when the body camera footage of Det. Wetzel is released, we are going to see a panicked shooter that is completely lacking in the proficiency of shooting a handgun accurately at speed (which is a non-negotiable requirement for a professional law enforcement officer, whether their department provides the training or not).

Signed, a pro-LEO salesman who shoots competitively.

  7. I pray that there will be some accountability 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

  10. The child should get immediate priority. That cop should’ve said to the 1st arriving ambulance “GET THE GIRL INSTEAD!” because she’s more important than the officer. I completely disagree with how this was handled. That is a grown man, he’s conscious and talking, he can wait while that little girl gets the first ambulance and gets taken care of first. What’s sad is this city needs more ambulances and fire stations nearby so it doesn’t take fuckin forever to have ambulances respond.

  11. In many states, extra funding was stopped for Medicaid, on top of that in m any states Medicaid doesn't cover mental health services therefore Medicaid pipes out people to local behavioral health facilities which try their best but aren't really what some of these people need. They wind up seeing a different person every now & then, visits are fragmented etc. They need a dedicated psychologist or psychiatrist that specialize in certain areas and can see these people on a regular basis with direct extensive care, they're not getting that from county facilities. Local psychologists and psychiatrists in many states refuse to take these people if they're on Medicaid, even if the person wants to pay cash. It's a huge breakdown in the system and is one of many reasons why there's so many mentally ill individuals walking the streets when they should be in inpatient treatment or with a psychiatrist instead of behavioral health facilities with young therapists.

  12. OMG that poor sweet little angel 😢 My heart aches for her family 😞 What a horrific situation. I can’t even imagine watching my best friend on the job getting shot in the head. And then to find out one of your guys’ bullets took the life of that baby, I could never forgive myself! I feel for them.

  13. That poor baby girl and her familly. This is a f ing tragedy, again because of a mentally unstable person. Bless her and her familly. I hope she did not suffer but I damn well know the parent accompanying her felt everything.
