Everyone keeps saying the TikTok ban is against free speech and censorship, however, that is not what it is. We want to keep TikTok available to Americans, but not at the expense of national security. The problem is that the app tracks the user's location, what applications the user has on their phone, keystrokes, and other private data that is considered private information and gives it to the CCP. The ban is only happening, because the Chinese control company ByteDance will not, not allowed, give up this flow of stolen information to its government the CCP. Saying it's about free speech is Chinese propaganda and should stop.
