Wow! This is my favorite Nirvana song. I've seen them do it live. But was unaware there was a properly mixed and professionally engineered live version for (of course) European television where you can go as weird/uncommercial as you can and not lose your audience.
They would not have played this on Saturday Night Live or Unplugged. To what depth and degree is this (Europeans being far more progressive music fans) objectively true?….in Europe, The Metallica/Lou Reed team up was warmly embraced and you can watch Lou, James and Lars doing European TV appearances where the audience ask thoughtful questions… it's THAT true 🤘
