Dave playing pretend boss, you can tell hes talking on eggshells because the drummer speaking on a song, is wayyyy out of bounds. Been a drummer for 30 years. Check your low contribution band mate for overstepping. Especially when theres nirvana money involved.

I can count on 1 hand how many singers can scream with every ounce of life they hav into the mic…….. and it is in perfect harmony. That truly is a gift. Kurt was the best screamer in the history of Rock n Roll EVER!!! Case closed…
You can teach anyone to sing…… But its a God gift to scream sing. Its like having a magical instrument in ur band, that nobody else can have.
And to think…… his drummer was a very close 2nd best screamer in the history of rock n roll.
Ya thats how good this band was.
The tragedy of kurts death is not that we would never hear him sing these songs again…. The world was robbed of where his creativity would of took music in todays world.

He definitely at least knew some basic theory, because Kurt mentioned before playing Pennyroyal Tea Unplugged that he was going to play it in a different key while asking Dave Grohl if he is doing it alone. Dave agreed he should, so they must have rehearsed it in a different key. Although I did not verify how they rehearsed it. However, the fact that Kurt knew the difference between “keys” tells me he at least had some basic understanding of theory. Maybe he just didn’t like to publicly admit he knew some theory because it didn’t fit the image he was trying to portray.
After I snort my stuff and listen to this, i dont feel like complete shit anymore.. amazing
