  1. I think Lockheed Martin and NASA need to come up with another solution for the nose, it is going to take up way too much space when scaled up for a commercial plane and its going to be an eyesore for customers and investors.

  2. I think the commercial airplane industry gave up on the Concorde and supersonic planes way too easily. Yes, there was that regulation, but they could have taken steps with design changes to the plane to reduce the sound and bring the flight prices down. Also, I they could have gradually developed supersonic capability across the industry, increasing speed and fuel efficiency as time went one. I don't understand why they made that regulation back in 1973. Yes I was really loud, but they should have made regulations to make the supersonic planes quieter not banned all flights over land.

  3. It is still about the money, not technology. We all know even we have many advanced technologies for many things, but if these technologies can’t make more money than the current ones, businesses will never move on. This is especially true in US. We always wait until other folks put something new in the market that may hurt our profit, then we will first try to make laws to kill that new technology. Only if we fail to ban the use of new technology, then we will be forced to release some to the market. That is why US has all these top technologies but we often feel like we live in last century.
