I was 18 and I remember everyone was betting on Tyson that night except for the so called wise guys. The Italians knew exactly the round Tyson would go down in. My uncle bet $350 on Douglas, because the wise guys were betting on Douglass and he won a little over 4k. Looking back, I wonder if this fight was fixed in some way.

Douglas had been building up a string of impressive victories which culminated w/this incredible victory. Clearly, he was at his very best; faster & with better movement. After this win, he lost that drive & completely let himself go. By the time he faced Holyfield, he’d put on 15 lbs & was markedly slower.
Funny watching Tyson go all "bobble head" after that uppercut.🤣
