Buster just lost his mom, he was ready to fight for her!
There should have been a rematch. Douglas got lucky and Tyson somehow was not focused.
He didn’t knock out Holyfield. Holyfield beat his ass twice.
He beat some BIG DUDES !!!
Mike didn’t train for that Douglas fight, you could see it plain as day. Even though he still knocked Buster on his ass for more than a 10 count. Mike was just living the wrong life at that time.
Douglas was the beginning of the end for da chump. Never matured, resorting to biting opponents when panicked. Holyfield punched him out twice, Lewis KO'd him with a broken right hand and Keven McBride (Kevin McBride?) finished this train wreck of a career. But wait, he came back to fight a You Tube sensation and suckered his cult out of millions. Yet his boorish personality perseveres among his groupies. Go figure.
Peak Tyson was the greatest heavyweight champion to ever lace up gloves.
What made him great is also what destroyed him.
If I had to ask him one question. "How different would things be if Cus lived for another 5 more years or more?"
The ref did a slow count when Tyson knocked Douglas down Tyson would of won

Christ Buster fought his guts out that fight. What a testament to his mother. The way his shoulders pistoned as he landed that last handful of punches: straight right, straight left, straight right, straight left, KO! He threw everything he had at Mike, and HE BEAT MIKE(!). It's impossible to describe what that meant at the time: Mike didn't just LOSE, MIKE GOT BEAT.
But wow did Mike make him earn it. Another vivid memory from the fight (I was 16! Watching from the other side of the world – New Zealand), was Mike picking up his mouthguard, popping it back in, tapping himself on the forehead and marching back in to do battle. What a fight!
HIS LOSS WAS STAGED LIKE ALL HIS LOSSES JUST LIKE ALL HIS OPONENTS WERE STAGED TO LOSE JUST LIKE JAKE PAUL.WAKE UP EVERYONE.STAGING FIGHTS DIDNT JUST START HAPPENING.

I was watching that fight on tv. I still think if his corner had told him he was losing (which he was) he would have won that fight.
Those Holyfield fights devastated NYC! Tyson got disowned after that. Did not represent us well at all.
Mike Tyson is a very wise man. And long may he spread his wisdom.
