  1. I was never a Metallica fan, just didn’t know them. Now this is one of the best covers I have ever heard! I listen to it frequently, just fantastic! I retired from the Library of Congress in 2016. Had never really considered the Gershwin Prize but glad Metallica was involved this time.

  2. This was probably the best song from Metallica in years. They were spot on, Lars slayed those drums, Kirk was fantastic. James did a great vocal and Robert had great base lines. Kudos'n

  3. Oh, wow! This is so great!! Two of my top favorite bands playing this new song collaboration and it’s amazing. I have been to see Metallica since I was a teenager and they were in all the small clubs, and now they’re giant and I love them so much. Elton and Bernie I grew up with their albums because my wonderful big brother loved them (and I did too and even more now) and Elton came to see my brother when he was still here. Elton was and is a wonderful man with unbelievable talent and class. A beautiful soul. Bernie is terrific too, he writes his lyrics like lovely poems, and they are treasured by all of us who love their music. Thank you for posting this amazing video. I can’t wait to see this on PBS. 🩵🎵🙏🏼

  4. Lars ain’t giving no slack!! These mugs go HARD!! I am mesmerized by the how synchronized they all are together!! Timing is impeccable & honestly mind blowing!! Metallic has aged better than the finest wine!!🩶🩶🩶🩶
