I think self deportation is perhaps the only way to get 30 million illegals out if the country efficiently. I would set a reasonable deadline to self deport. If caught after the deadline, you lose your ability to ever legally immigrate to the USA. Meanwhile, reform the immigration process which is long overdue. Most people are not against legal immigrants, but the illegals who violated our border and now expect everything handed to them without a thought of learning English and becoming American citizens. We are not interested in making America into Mexico or any other country. Incorporating your culture into ours is what makes America. Otherwise… it’s gonna be a long hard road and immigrants are gonna lose as the tides of protest turn against them.
