The myth of Mike Tyson had already been exposed by Evander Holyfield when this fight happened. When he lost to Holyfield he was 30 and Holyfield was 34 so the 'not in his prime' argument doesn't work. Tyson made a career of knocking out bums, has-beens and light-heavyweights. He lost to every real fighter he ever fought.
