After 15 days of doing jump roping, I learned about that boxer skip and I never thought that I would be able to do that since on the first day, I can't even do 1-2 proper jump roping. It was all about repetition and then your body will follow due to muscle memory.
I don't count time, I go by number of jumps. Is the one better than the other? Haven't boxed in years, but jumping rope is still my favorite way to end a workout

Since I learned how to use jumping ropes it's my go to idk if you can consider it as cardio but I find it effective for me
