Rockstar needs to stop handing down GTA mods. Bring RD1 and RDR2 story content to RDO. The details that made the story modes so dang appealing. Shouldn't be difficult to implement those as updates. then work on the bigger things. Players want homesteads. Give us a home to protect instead of a camp.
Give us a more distinct path with honor/dishonorable. Have NPCs run and hide if you or your posse are dishonorable. Outlaws should have to steal/loot for ammo- make them work for that status. Honorables get ambushed more often.
Clear cut missions for either end that adds more pvp aspect to the PvE side. Maybe a couple more era-specific weapons.
All I want is a privet lobby. So I can enjoy the content and play with just my friends. There are too many that don’t have all the roles. So they have nothing to do but pvp. So I’m often forced to play the game they want to play. Kill the some dumbass over and over. It gets old.
Hopefully that director mode isn’t just the only thing that’s comignn

Mining claims, and the mining role. A bigger map, larger lobbies. Guarma, Mexico? Got this big ass map, and only part of it is even used. I imagine it would have been much bigger originally, but they had to size some things out for release. Theres so much potential with this game, they could even just keep giving us mechanics to make the free roam feel more of that RPG feel. I just wish they'd get their heads out of their asses and put some real work into this game. It deserves so much better.

I feel they are going to do the same they did with gta v, stop giving best updates for old gen and then all the content goes to the new gen, im sure they are waiting new gen grows and then the big updates will come to red dead

At this point it feels like RDO will end up dying before it ever lived because R* keeps considering this game a side project
I just want private lobbies. Random encounters haven't spawned for me 99% of the time in over 2 years on PS4, because the lobbies have too many people. It all started when the roles update happened. When they had the lobbies set to low population, the game worked perfectly. Then, they fucking changed it again. Plus, they patched the poker table glitch too. I've been telling Rockstar support about this for 2 years, and they haven't done shit or even acknowledged the problem.
I want a farm with cattle and crops.
I just want to buy and run a damn ranch!!

Not really interested, but I know others might be more into it. Just hope this isn't gonna be the only thing released in a future major update.
The content creator would be amazing, however, Rock Star has proved many times over that Red Dead isn’t a priority. With janky discounts to weak rewards for event passes it never seems like much thought is put into the online game. Perhaps, I expect too much but one thing is clear, RedDead online players are thrown scraps compared to 2013’s GTA-V players.
