I really like the metronome type of clicking sound during the "no matter what I do, its never enough" chorus. It makes the song way sadder for me since I interpret it as a ticking clock, symbolizing that someones time is starting to run out.
Peter couldnt handle deaths around his close friends and family well, Im sure he wouldve done anything for her to have more time of joy (as said in the lyrics)
Lars is a better drummer than everyone in this comment section combined and given 16 lifetimes to try. Stop putting down somebody who's greater than you. Just acknowledge that he's superior to you.
Kirk was great, got sloppy. James is always tight as fuck. Lars has never, ever been good. I’ve always had a belief that most of the studio drums were done by Vinnie Paul or Charlie Benante.
What’s mind blowing is that he can’t even play the most simple lines without messing up. Like I think you could take someone who has never held drum sticks before, instruct them how the drums work, and then sit them on the kit, and they’ll likely play this better.

Bruh why is everyone complaining, he literally just messed up a drum hit, and everyone is like “lArS iS tHe WoRsT dRuMmEr EvEr”
Μην γελιεσαι. Αυτό είναι το μεγαλύτερο σόλο που έχει παίξει 😂😂😂

Best drummer ever!!!
Jir lah 😂
40+ years playing drums for the biggest band on the planet and the guy gets worse every single time I hear him play ANYTHING. Atrocious drummer!
Whats mund blwing is people still complain about lars to this day! You would think people would get tired of it but suprisingly its still in style.
Lars at his very best….
James still laughs at him. He's really not that good guys. Seriously
Ive never liked this band….james is great everyone else meeeh
😂😂 I bet they talk a lot of shit about Lars' drumming skills, too bad they just can't fire him or they would have a long time ago
Lars us literally useless lmao they've been playing this song since '83
Loved it when Joey Jordison was behind the kit ..😢❤❤
Pretty mediocre.
Larson was better back in 89 then went straight down hill.
Wonder if the band talks about it after this show
Such an embarrassment
James is like… Dude… Your job is to hit things with sticks and count to 4….cmon
Bottom line , he is just lazy..
James brings his A game every practice and every show….
Lars has been caught in the same lie for 40 years. It’s made him millions of $ and fans all over the world but it’s still a lie.
He faked it, made it, and kept faking it 😂
James know that Lara always mistake haha😅
Even In his prime he was an amateur/intermediate level player at best and that’s simply facts.
When Joey Jordison played with them it was crazy good!!!!
How has he not improved in 40 years?
Heard these guys back in'83 when they hit the scene hard! He sucked then as well!
Dang lars sucks 😂😂😂😂😂
Everyone's right he's not that good of a drummer..😮
Amazing how he has stayed bad at at it for 40 years. I feel like hed just naturally be better by now with the hundreds of thousands of reps
People saying any of these guys can't play have lost their minds. Sure, Lars is no Danny Carrey, but he gets it in.
Kirk sucks
