I’m British, and I’ve cried often over Austin metcalf.. this video just set me off again! You will NEVER KNOW the pain of losing a child, your children aren’t meant to pass before you. It’s all the harder when it’s due to murder or manslaughter!
My mother passed away two years ago, and until the day she died she mourned my brother, who had been murdered 30 yrs earlier!
I couldn’t imagine my mother and myself having to go through what the metcalf’s are going through! Dealing with the death, plus the murder (trust me they are two separate things when it comes to your pain) the death is pain, but the murder is the NEVER ENDING pain!
I had to identify my brother twice (the police forgot to get me to sign the paperwork saying I identified my brother) at 19, my father had passed the year before, so it was just mum, my brother and I, my mum was a wreck when the police arrived.
I STILL have nightmares to this day, seeing him on the mortuary slab! I also now carry the burden of guilt alone since my mother passed, I feel guilt for not saving him! I know we couldn’t, because we didn’t know he was in danger, but you still feel it!!

I'm sorry for the young man who did that to the other 17 yr old young man . And the reason I feel sorry for him is that his Mom is the one who is going along with the BLM people . I pray God has Mercy on this young man soul . Does prison is not a good place to go .

I'm white and grew up in majority black neighborhoods here in bmore. I by noway am racist. There's good in bad everywhere. One thing I can say about black culture is that blacks lead thru emotions. Not all because we know it's not a prerequisite of blacks. I can say that by far this is true. We all need to take a step back and think for a second before reacting. At 5:56. The pain in her voice her genuine apology is what made me cry the sadness in her heart her emotions got my emotions, and my tears are flowing. The fact that she felt like she had to apologize for the actions of another human being just because that particular human being or the individual spewing the hate look like her and the pain you can feel in her words, her genuine apology because of her personal empathy, it just speaks volumes in that one phrase “I apologize”

The police report makes it very clear he had been suspended from all sports, it is said that he had been fighting and his GPA had dropped below 2.0 and those two factors got him kicked out of sports…God bless this woman for speaking facts.
