Jake Paul is a fraud….if you are dumb enough pay to watch his fixed, useless “fights”, you deserve it.
Ohh B-Dogg.. the Canelo thing did not age well. 🥛 Also have to disagree with a couple of points; 1) Jake has beaten two pro boxers back to back vicious first round knockouts, Ryan Bourland and Andre August, Golden Gloves winner and 2) Platinum was in fact Jake’s toughest test to date at the time; and Jake absolutely minced him.
If you see it as a cash grab then I respect it. He did Mike a favour by helping him earn 20 million dollars and also looked like he was going easy on him. I don't like the sport of boxing. I think it is brutal. It causes CTE. However Jake looked like he went easy on him.
Everybody was looking at Mike’s fights from the 80’s and 90’s… when the real representation would’ve been his last fight vs McBride in 2005 plus 20 years.
Mike obviously held back. He could have easily jacked Jake up in the beginning of the "fight".

We not going to talk about how much Mike was clearly holding back, don’t go jumping on the bandwagon pretending like he was gassed. Several times Mike could’ve planted him under the chin and knock him down but his contract didn’t allow it, he literally clinched Mike and told him to tone it back, stop pretending like age would’ve mattered. He was literally boxing at 54 bouncing around the ring and landing some of the heaviest punches he’s thrown. I know you’re trying to be unbiased but how can anyone say that it wasn’t scripted. Boxing is a fucking joke now.
That “fight” was unwatchable… very sad
weird thing is it would have been better for Jake's career if he'd lost. If he'd lost, well he got knocked out by Mike Tyson. 58 years old or not, absolutely no one will think less of you for getting knocked out by Mike motherfucking Tyson. Mike looks good, Jake gets attention, netflix gets more customers, everyone walks away happy and rich. Now instead Jake looks like a worthless fraud who bullied an old man, everyone's disappointed and thinks it was rigged, the sport of boxing itself has taken a hit, people are cancelling their subscriptions and no one will watch a circus act like this again no matter how well it's marketed.

Suppose you can say he deserves it if Tyson choses to be in there with him..which he did..for money. You can argue that Tyson is tarnishing his own legacy / reputation and has to take some of the blame for this.. but 20million will compel most people to doing things they would rather not. People hold Tyson up on a pedastle – but the guy has a history of questionable character – things like being convicted of rape for example..a history of criminality in his youth etc.. Great fighter yes – but he isnt a great person.
