I didn’t watch the fight because it just seemed to illegitimate, 2 minute rounds is not enough time for a real boxing match, and I do feel they severely damaged the sport and that is unforgivable. This sport has been very good to both of them, we wouldn’t know who they were without it, and in my opinion they just took a great big sh1t on the sport and everyone who believed in it and didn’t bother to wipe. Oh and I do believe some prison time is warranted, think about if Joe blow went out and pulled a con duping hundreds of millions of people and legitimate organizations for a easy pay day what would happen when he stands before a judge? So I don’t believe a ounce of leniency should be given to these guys just because they are famous, being famous isn’t a excuse to rip people off and ruin a sport that has been around for as long as boxing has. People devoted their lives to this sport and to tarnish it this severely undermines everything people have died to accomplish.

My honest opinion is that if this wasn't scripted, both fighters would have left the ring severely injured. Mike would have pushed himself too hard and his age plus health complications would have done a number on him. That being said, If Mike meant it and threw a real punch I am absolutely certain that his former self would have reached out and popped Jake so hard in his head that he would have seen the light and woken up born again.
