  1. Great Channel👍 Taking lessons with a Pro doesn't always help because very often each Pro has another way to teach what doesn't always fit your swing!
Regarding the Simulator, I bought the Square and I'm quiet happy. But what would be for you the next level? Thanks Wolf from 🇦🇹 Austria

  2. I recently started doing the randomized practice mode and it is a game changer for me (pun intended). Prior to that I was spending too much time trying to hit the same shot with the same club dozens of times in a row, which is not how real golf is played. I started coming up with different "rules" for how to hit each club that were different from one another. Again, that is not how real golf is played (unless you are a pro). The feature also helped me understand my clubs better, and which club REALLY is the better option for a particular situation. For instance I learned that my 50 degree is better at 40 and 70-80 yard shots than any other club option for me. But my 46 degree is better for the 50-60 yard shot inbetween. Why? I don't know. I just know that's the results I keep getting.

  3. GC3 is 10,000$ in canada. jesus. as much fun as this looks, the cost to have a space for a sim and just the monitor alone would be 20-30k. yikes. how does any average person remotely afford this?

  4. one thing I will tell people Simulators are BS and waste of money if you want to improve your golf game. These are #1 for entertainment and time pass but do not look at them as improving your game because when your ball is out in rough or tough rough its amazing how with any iron you can get the ball out towards the flag, while in real world you'd be struggling your ass off. Most launch monitors will have off yardage of your irons by 10-30 yards and if you think something is wrong with your swing and you need to adjust it that's a big mistake. You will lose your real swing on the real golf course. Only those 25K-50K worth simulators are worth using for improvement of swing but not playing a full course game.

  5. Im shopping for a monitor and a back yard practice net. Once I get good Ill finally score😂. Probably going with the R10. Its on sale . Need a really good net for 180 mph balls and a lot of arrant chunks so a side net is important bc I can’t afford to fix any of my neighbors crap.

  6. I went from a 5-6index playing once a week with no practice to a 1-2 in a year with a home sim and practicing 3 to 4 times a week.

Majority of my practice is 9iron (150-155) to 54 degree (100-105) for full shots and i spend a ton of time from inside 100 with different clubs and different shot selection.

I think having the confidence of yardage is a HUGE benefit. Still have to be a good putter to score when opportunity presents itself.

I dont regret investing in a home sim one bit! 👍

  7. Do you truly trust the original Skytrack yardages? I have one and find short clubs is good but struggles with hybrids and woods.
Did you also find range matt changes strike as well? It’s super springy vs a fairway

  8. Club Path, Face Angle, Face to Path, and Angle of Attack are the main 4 items to fully understand… and it's not exactly that easy either. I see your panel is missing some of that stuff….that is concerning for you.

  9. Not sure where I missed it but did you move out of the garage you were only able to swing a 6i or 5i? Or renting a space for a sim studio? Looks great dude, congrats!!

  10. I have a lot of negative comments about golf sims and their impact on game improvement as I’ve had sky trak then gc3 for past five years.

But being from the UK, without one, what would I be doing to improve for 6/7 months a year???? So that’s why I’d recommend one BIG time if you’re serious about improving your game and living in crap weather.

The cons are far outweighed by the fact I can hit balls in the warm during the winter 👍🏻

  11. now that we both have GC3's we will have to have a game again sometime, we both started on Skytrak OG and both pathed to GC3, I have no regrets and agree 100 percent with everything you said.

  12. Great video, does your sim show low point, I find mats can lie to you, as your club can skid and effectively produce shots that would not happen in grass. Thanks.

  13. I started with just using the skytrak range and randomizer on occasion. I finally got GsPro about a month ago but I still enjoy the practice modes way more than playing courses. If I have a buddy over that’s pretty much the only time I play on a course edit: I have no buddies*

  14. Hey Mitch. I feel abandoned now that you are using GC3. I use Skytrak +. It has quirks, but still I feel its improving my game. I agree, use the game improvement areas in your software. Playing courses is just for fun. 👍😁

  15. What would you say is the ideal size for a golf simulator? WxDxH. Looking to get the Trackman iO but want to make sure I buildout enough space but my garage might be a little too small.

  16. I just got a square and set up a sim, me and my mates are just using closest to the pin with putts turned on and it's fun! I set a range of distance to suit a particular club and it feels like my game is improving even after a week of it.
