I have seen Andre Segovia, Charlie Byrd, Joe Pass, Norman Brown. There is Chet Atkins, Glen Campbell, Wes Montgomery, Jose Feliciano…the is no best guitarist!!!
Hi Dr. Turley, I was shocked to see your guitar playing. You were great. I just started my guitar journey nine months in, and loving it.
Dude is relatively decent for what he does,but I have seen Steve Turley play live and have met Mr Turley,and my very first guitar teacher was a master guitarist who was actually a classmate of Steve Turley at the Peabody conservatory of music and he got his master's degree in guitar there, and I have been a classical guitarist for years and I have had the privilege to study with and meet some truly great masters of the guitar (one of them actually being a student of Andres Segovia),so although he is decent enough at what he does,he is by no means the best guitar player in the world.

My mother was a classical guitarist and played in a seminar with Andre Segovia. I was blessed with the ability to see him twice in concert. What a gift he has left the world with. There’s a wonderful documentary on his life and the beginnings of his role in creating a classical guitar repertoire that was previously unavailable. I saw your 700 club video six or seven years ago and each time I see your right hand I’m reminded of where you’re true talents lie. ❤😂

He should have had a decent classical or flamenco guitar. A cutaway guitar is not a guitar. It's like someone offering you a hundred dollar bill with the corner missing. I use that as an example since people know about money. You can see me play in utube under BACHTOBEBOP.
