  1. Chloe Ting saved my mental health in the pandemic ngl. Her workouts were basically all I did bec I was in a lab-based Masters programme and could not do anything for 6 months. I never followed her food advice but the workouts were really good

  2. I had an eating disorder by the time I was 10. I was born in 1958, the 1960’s we worshiped Twiggy. I have a pretty face but chubby. My mother and aunt lived by “you can’t be too rich or too thin. My dad traveled for work and my mother only made low calorie foods.
If she had fed us( my sister) enough at meals, we wouldn’t have eaten as much as we could at friends houses! We loved going to friends houses for lunch. At home we got a sandwich made out of 40 calorie thin bread with a teaspoonful of peanut butter and jelly with a glass of skim milk. Dinner was chicken Brest and a salad with a vinaigrette that was mostly vinegar. Breakfast was the 40 calorie toast with no butter.
For my mother it wasn’t so bad , she is ( still alive) 5’5” I am 5’11”.On our birthday or Valentine’s Day we got egg salad for lunch.
I know my mother love’s me , she didn’t know better.
Unfortunately, this all lead to big issues with food. Sometimes I starved myself thinking I will get attention. Most the time my dad threatened to put me in a hospital. This is how I lived most my life. I was never satisfied with my body. Even when I was really thin I felt never thin enough.
I have 2 boys and 1 daughter, I fed them well. My youngest son was chubby, I never said a negative word. As he grew he thinned out and has been the perfect weight and is now 36.
Thank goodness I broke the pattern!
Please excuse my grammatical mistakes, I am dyslexic, educators didn’t know much abut it back. So this contributes to my food issues, I had control my food intake, one part of my life I could control.
    Thank you!
By the way I spend summers up in Georgian Bay Canada. My great grandfather founded an island in the 1800’s. I am considering a move to Toronto. With the USA having elected a mad man to run the country it is time to leave.

  3. Can you do Chelsea Mae please?? She makes everything look so good but I also heard at least one horror story about her kickstarter and it’s one of those vegan-volume type things.

  4. There is no point in counting calories at any level. Calories are measured by heating food with a Bunsen burner in a calorimeter dish. Humans do NOT burn food in the body in any way, but rather break it down into parts and those parts are either utilized or removed from the body. In other words, calories play no role in human metabolism. You also cannot even know the calorie content of the food you eat, except at a very rough level. A calorie is a unit of heat energy and the body does not directly create heat energy from food. Check your knowledge so that you are not talking nonsense.

  5. It's adorable how a dietitian lectures about science, as if her entire field isn’t basically just a well-dressed collection of opinions pretending to be evidence.

  6. I do have to say, before I counted calories I would overeat due to not realising what a proper portion size would look like. I did it for a while and now I have good knowledge of what is enough. It should be a tool to teach ourselves what is and isn’t reasonable calorie and portion wise, and not a lifetime burden.

  7. Love how you draw the line between useful tracking and full-on obsession. When my nomad clients start stressing over every gram, what’s one quick cue you give them to know it’s time to chill?

  8. I just want to say thank you for changing my life forever and my relationship with food. I feel better than ever mentally and physically. No more crash dieting and calorie restrictions! I was extremely unhealthy and had no idea I wasn't getting enough nutrition and wondering why the scale wasn't budging anymore. I thought I had ruined my metabolism forever. So much love for you and your channel!❤❤❤

  9. Calorie counting helped me so much when I started weight loss. It taught me I was eating too little protein, and I learned how to plan satiating meals with fewer calories. Now, I know how to estimate an appropriate amount of each nutrient, just by looking at it. So I don’t exactly count calories nowadays, but I maintain a balance

  10. I would love if you could do a video on evidence based diets for acid reflux / GERD / hiatus hernia. Finding it hard to know if what the dr suggests is actually beneficial- don’t want to restrict myself for no reason

  11. 📊 I counted every calorie, every macro — but my body stayed bloated and tired. Eat Like a Woman Protocol (Loren Green) finally freed me. 30 lbs down with zero tracking 💃🌿🔥

  12. 🥩 High protein helped a little, but nothing changed my metabolism like Eat Like a Woman (b Loren Green). If you're stuck, THIS is what actually works 💡💚✨

  13. I’ve lost 30 pounds over the past year and I’m stuck trying to lose the last 10. I’m disabled so I’m unable to exercise. I have followed weight watchers and my calorie intake varies depending on how many zero point foods I eat. I have started taking fiber supplements to increase my fiber intake because I’m a picky eater and not a bean fan. Any suggestions?

  14. Ok, Abbey✨ I haven't watched for a while because sometimes my EDs raise their ugly heads and I avoid talk about food altogether. But here I am now and hey, you look pretty as always, but that shoulder-length wavy bob on you????? Fab, absolutely fab ❤

  15. You frequently praise avocado as a great meal option, so what are the alternatives? I'm highly allergic to anything with any kind of avocado in it, to the point of having to change my shampoo and conditioner after they changed the formula to include avocado oil for some reason. A week in hospital caused by accidental cross contamination from a knife in a cafe kitchen.

  16. 🧠 Vision boards are powerful, but what truly changed my life was applying the steps from Eat Like a Woman (written by Loren Green). The body and mind need to align for real manifestation 💡💚✨
