  1. I can't believe a supposed expert, constantly driving home the importance of safety when training alone, proceeds to bench using a thumbless grip like a crass amateur. Not a good example of safety!

  2. "If" you were to start off with 315lbs, just do one rep per set, tuh save yo' energy, go up 10lbs per set, based on what I just saw you do with 315, as a black mane, from here in Louisiana, who wuz bone in dem 70's, I must say dat, dere's "no" doubt, in my mind that you will get 405!!!!🤨

  3. I took 80% of my max, going from 5×3 to 5×4, and I definitely increased my max squat(I pause on all reps). Your body gets used to that weight more, increasing your max. I still don't fully understand it, but it has worked out for me twice now. So, if you want a straightforward answer, spam 80 to 85 percent, and you will gain something.
