1% talking about gameplay or combat, 19% talking about the beds, 80% complaining about the graphics. Gotta love game reviewers that don’t review the game and just keep up the status quo for likes and agreement, just to pull up someone else’s tweet that says what was it? “Lackluster combat” or whatever? Compared to what? It seems like the people who played the game praised that part most.
But also yeah that’s lazy asf seriously. You play one mission in the game and then pull up someone else’s tweet and call the game a mixed bag. Genuinely a garbage review.
So the likelyhood of you getting this is probably ZERO, but it is now on Steam for $34.99 and Fanatical for $30.99, so I guess at those prices, why not. I have a 4090 with a 65" OLED and most games look pretty good except the ones that just don't. I just want a game not to suck and have fun, not to be super repetitive and a crappy story. This looks pretty good.
This obsession over graphics is weird to me, the game looks good enough and is fun to play. I'll take it over a better looking boring game any day
My bed has been facing my wall like that for years now, i just prefer it that way, its right in the corner with just enough room on the corner side to get in and out of my bed, its actually quite common in Asia, especially in Japan, after working for years in cities like Beijing, New Delhi, Seoul, Tokyo and Ankara I've seen this in many households in Asia
Other than the sub par graphics; this game is actually super fun to play.
You forget to tell the game is one of the longest combat games youll come across. It just keeps going and going

I am sorry Luke even with the graphics issue, Rise of the Ronin is still MILES better than what Ubisoft has been putting out with AC. The fighting/battle system in this game is beyond amazing! Lets be honest this game is everything AC Shadow wishes it was, yeah its no Ghost of Tsushima but this is an amazing game.
this game is awesome, just wish the mission design was more varied. all this time i had a souls like with an actual story and i was sleepin on it. I cant put the game down
Just played it on PS5. Got it for $30 and they cleaned it up quite a bit. It was a good game with great combat. 7.5 out of 10. The one thing that bothered me was having to fight the same characters over and over and over again.

opened world activities are fine more then fine considering this their first open world and the great combat

Graphics dont bother you when you got it for free, the sole reason I got a gaming PC, pirate games lol.

Lol no. Just no. From combat doesn't even come remotely CLOSE to something like Ninja Gaiden, or especially Nioh; and Nioh 2 doesn't really have a rival.
From combat is actually very basic. What the player can do is highly limited. That's by design, yes, but it's still a fact. The "depth" comes from the complexity that the ENEMIES have, not from what the player can do.
In NG or Nioh, it's the player's actions that have depth, and if you're skilled enough at it, the whole "wait 30 seconds, Dodge, wait 30 seconds" gameplay loop that From does, can be basically circumvented.
That skill ceiling is high, and takes practice and patience.
But From games' "skill" is just understanding the enemy patterns, memorization, and trial and error.
Tl:Dr; From doesn't come close to TN in combat depth and feel.

This was actually a bad take. Same from ACG and Jor. The game is way better than they are giving credit, graphis set aside, which graphics do not make a game.

Its not just about Graphics… The game run like shit for how it looks, it should'nt do that and above that the game is 160 gb when its looks like thats, even some systems is dated like loading screen for transmog in hideout at the same time asking for high pc requirements

This is so weird this obsession with graphics. I mean wtf go outside and smell some grass or something if you want realism. We have to stop with this ever increasing demand on graphics. It is the gameplay what this game is for and in that regard it delivers massively. We had so many games that came out looking realy photorealistic but gameplay was garbage. We should rather focus on making really good gameplay experiences and creating unique art designs rather then focusing that much on fidelity.
On the topic of graphics as you said it looks very outdated. I agree 100% They are using an old engine and trying to milk it for as long as they can before having to invest in something better. People point out they don't care about graphics and only want good gameplay and paying top dollar for a sub par game that you could instead buy a game that checks both boxes of gameplay and graphics. If you set your standards low you get games like this or like Star Wars Outlaws. If a developer can get away with checking only one box and still get your $70 + they wont be motivated to improve. It's all about the money.

From Software has miles to go to achieve that level of combat fun. Team Ninja cannot do story/world building/environments, but their combat is miles ahead of everyone else's.
Man after actually playing this game. I don’t think I’ll watch anymore reviews from this channel. The combat is fun as hell and has great depth. The graphics aren’t great but, for those saying it looks like a ps3 game, you need to go fire up a ps3 and then tell me what you really think.
Dam i bought this game when it came out. Played like a hour and never touched it again. Maybe i need to re visit. I hated it when it released , felt like a Ps3 game . Very outdated
I mean there were PS3 Games that look very good even today, GOW Ascenscion is a great example, it just needed more resolution (wich you can achieve now on emulators) but yeah, for most IP's/games it was a huge difference, I think we just hit the point of diminishing returns tbh.

You know what else is $70 and doesn’t hold a candle to this game in graphics nor gameplay? Sport games, hell call of duty isn’t rendering these large areas and their textures still look like garbage. Also, uncharted 4 SUCKS it’s the worst most boring game in the franchise. Take your graphics blinders off, Luke. 11:03 in, and you still have only talked about graphics move on…
This game is fucking FANTASTIC
This is random, but about your cat wearing a collar. Just a forewarning, one of my cats wore a collar all the time for like 5+ years and he no longer grows fur on that part of his neck, where the collar used to sit. Be careful with that 😺
Videos like this kept my away from this game. I just bought it few days ago on sale and have a absolute blast. The combat is amazing after some practicing and I love the character creator. Graphics also look better than expected on my Tv.

Average graphics are rarely an issue if the gameplay is amazing. I would say that 60fps is much more important than good graphics.
You never played the game. The entire video is the beginning of the game so how are you putting out a review video. Bro get paid by putting out a "Review" video of the first 2 hours. This game quests similar to CD Project Reds design. You surely played those games and would know if you played beyond the starting area. Someone with your following should know better and be more responsible.

its just there isnt alot of places you can't rlly make a leap from. where do you go after near hyper realistic graphics, we need to stop worrying about graphics and worry about the genuine content within the game and the gameplay itself. graphics are the only thing keeping franchises like cod alive
