  1. I've learned any time someone in a Senate hearing begins "thank you for the question," what follows is going to be either lies, total 🐂💩, waffling, deflecting, avoiding the question, trying to cover his or her tush, talking about everything but what they were asked, mental gymnastics, or some combination thereof. I find it amazing how many people who are unable to answer a single word answer question of either yes or no with a single word yes or no. And nearly every single time I've seen that in this and other videos of these committee hearings the last couple days, when someone refuses to answer a question requiring them to use a either single word "yes" or single word "no", they try to outsmart the committee and I applaud Sens. Cruz, Kennedy, and Hawley for not letting them get away with it. Granted, they aren't exclusively the ones holding feet to the fire, but the ones coming to mind as I'm type this, and I'm proud as an American that at least somebody that we send to those hallowed halls cares enough to put themselves to the hazard to do so. Let's face it, calling out the hypocrisy, lies, misperceived superiority, misperceived untouchable-ness, and the status quo of government for profit and power for the sake of profit and power is dangerous and unpopular with the wrong people if you want to just keep your head down and play it safe. They have the fortitude and G-d given courage to do this and I'm not only proud I them but wish I could do more to help them than be a YouTube cheerleader on the sidelines. But, since I can do this much, I'd be morally amiss if I didn't, IMO
