When I turn my head to breathe, water gets into my mouth and I panic because I'm swallowing too much water! How to fix my breathing technique?
Breath out underwater through your nose thats how you dont run out of breath and alsoe when you come up breath in try to your head has close as you can to the water
breast stroke
Well
I love the butterfly stroke
I kick twice in breaststroke. I've swam like that for years lol.
is that a wrong move? I want to get better at swimming cuz that's the only sport i love and able to do 😂
my favourte stroke is the five knuckle shuffle 😉✊🍆💦
Here I am now watching videos on youtube cause I joined this sport in my school and luckily i got to play in the district meet I am so nervous because its my first time joining sports snd i am not that good in swimming but i really want to learn more about swimming good luck to me😂❤
Bqck looks like boring but trust me knowing it helps with all the other strokes
Please give me some great tips on having underwater sex ?
I can’t do freestyle right to save my life. It’s so fucking hard to turn my head and get air correctly.
Ok I don't know if it's because it's a year I started to learn swimming (I'm 40), and that's the time it took to my brain to feel the water, but, this is the most comprehensive tutorial I have seen around.
I think it has all you need to know how to do this strokes clean.
I personally struggle with breaststroke (the kick omg I simply couldn't get it symmetrical until last week)), but this explanation made me get it right, plus 1 hours of splashing with the teacher really on me, learningto do the kick backside. It was a terrible lesson, I felt so depressed and felt like I would never get it. Then after a week of sleep and watching this video, I finally start to get it and did a few clean strokes today for the first time.
At the end, I think it's all about finding the right teacher for how your brain is wired.
I feel happy today thank you.
❤ I'm so happy tomorrow I was in 🏊 sport and know I can do it ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😅🎉🎉 I so excited time to shred th e companion thanks😅
Is the flip turn still allowed in freestyle?
As a big fan of Swimming. But I'm not a big fan of the butterfly.
my fav is free style
Good explanations! I made up a two combinations myself while trying to learn the Combat Side Stroke. One is "the Beluga", closest to CSS. It's three underwater (or 'dynamic apnea') breaststrokes and then a CSS-style side breath (no arms above water) but with a flutter kick. In rotate back fully horizontal with hands in prayer position before kicking out again in breaststroke (so no scizzor kick). Switch left and right breaths. It keeps you concealed longer than the standard CSS and allows for more powerful kicks. The only downside is you'll spend more energy going down again (against buyoncy) but you can gain some moments of rest while doing the underwater part as well.
The other I call "the Reef stroke". It's three breaststrokes on surface level, head submerged to check out the seabed, fish etc. After the 3rd breaststroke I keep one arm stretched forward while the other does a freestyle stroke so I can breath while flutterkicking. That arm then joins the forward arm back in extended position for the next breaststroke. Switch breathing sides. This is a relaxed technique that allows a lot of time for rhe face to be underwater to check the seabed and can also be sped up easily. The fact that there's always one arm strethed forward is handy when checking near rocks or a cliff and saves energy.
This video inspired me to be even more imaginative, let's see what I can think of next. I'm think a combination of dynamic apea plus butterfly breaths (for when you need to survive very rough and foamy water : hard to get your head above water to breathe with normal strokes) but I also want to do smth compeltely new, I'm thinking asymmetrical and underwater. Hmmm…
I’m learning backstroke in level 5 I’m nervous about lvl 6 because so many students fail LOL
My All Strokes from Best to Worst
Butterfly
Freestyle
Breaststroke
Backstroke
I struggle with freestyle mainly because, when I move my head horizontal in the water, I feel water going far inside my ear and it is very painful.
I have no idea what to do in that case, so I keep practicing the others (no horizontal head).
I leaned all four but it requires lots of time to make it better
No nonsense video. Succinct and packed with info. Great job!
…
exhale while in water with your nose or mouth? i do it with my mouth but in video it looks like with nose?
my fav swimming stroke is butterfly but ive never actually tried it im kinda new to swimming but it looks so cool and ik its painfulll
I can swim 5km freestyle but struggle in all others. I can even thread and swim in place. 😅 HELP
the breast stroke is more economize than others
defiantly freestyle👌👍 because butterfly starch is a little bit tiring😩👎
All my swimming life my fav was butterfly. With age I can't do it anymore, well maybe two or three strokes. Never been a fan of backstroke. 😊
My favorite stroke is breaststroke
I learned to swim by being thrown in the pool as a kid and being told to doggy paddle. I won't drown in deep water but I'm interested in learning to swim with proper technique. When I'm just swimming in a pool with no structure, I'm most comfortable swimming backward, doing a kind of backward breast stroke lol
Mma or grappling are amazing full body workouts
Honestly I'm feeling disappointed… I've been trying so hard to learn Frog style (breaststroke) every time my couch tells me it's not good enough… I just love swimming and I do it for exercise, not for medal or something!🙃
Anyway, it used to be fun and enjoyable but now I'm kinda embarrassed about my training…
Sorry for venting
Brest strok
I really want to learn swimming to build it as a capability and for workouts, but I see how much water intake some of these strokes involve, and become discouraged. How to overcome this?
My best strokes have always been backstroke and freestyle, I am decent at breaststroke but my fly is terrible, hopefully I will get better at it 💪
Who's the guy with the beer belly in the video? 😂
How much water are you normally taking in 😂
Im only rly good at back and fly i need to work on free and breast
Well, I’m a really fast swimmer, I was recorded by a friend and I went 7 mph, it’s pretty good, but I can’t tread water 😢, but I know how to save myself
im a 12 yr old boy and fly is my best. my im is good and breaststroke is my weakest but a 2 min 58 seconds isnt bad for 200 im
