Do you think it's safe to start judo at 40 years old? Would love to do Judo but I keep reading/getting told that Judo's really for younger people and that I should choose BJJ?
I have a tattoo of a black rose on my shoulder blade. Would this get me banned from studying Judo in Japan?
This video motivated me to start Judo😁
Sensei Shintaro, thank you for this informative video. I started judo back in August and have been loving it so far! I’m 43 years old by the way!
thank you so much!
Thank you!
How can I make a million likes for this video?
From India ❤
During body mechanics he legit demonstrates it about 400 times and then dude with the mask does it like hes drunk for about 20 seconds before my man just stops him and says "thats ok.."
Started at 11 now 64 and still at it
Very informative video 👍
Very good explanations , even though I don't know any martial arts, I can clearly understand the reason behind every move❤
I've been doing judo for 2 years, I am currently watching this instead of going to judo practice because I broke my index finger in practice.
You're telling me right now that I wasn't even supposed to be gripping with my index finger at all ?
I am flabbergasted
Useful and amusing content. Thank you
@shintaronakano2842 do you have any lessons about defending Ashi waza not throwing but counters to being thrown?
I just had my first class today and I am going again five times a week. I was put in the yellow and orange belt classes due to my age so I feel like I am really clumsy and don't know anything, but I guess it is natural. I just hope I will start to move faster as I only move one step at a time very slowly while asking if I'm doing it correctly over and over again. I already learned how to fall on my back and side. I hope I'll catch up in a year or so, but how realistic really is that? The classes are 1.5 hours long and 5 times a week.
After every week of classes, I go back to this video and I understand it just a little bit better each time.
Definitely judo and boxing techniques good self defense tandem
Thanks
What white gi looks super nice where did you get it from?
Amazing sport, would pick it back it up in a heartbeat.
nice
Started judo two weeks ago at 46. This video is an amazing source of knowledge. Thank you.
Thank you for the lesson Sensei Shintaro. I am fascinated by judo, unfortunately I do not have access to a judo club nor a training partner. Is it possible to learn with a dummy? Thank you.
My battle is lost in my head when I go training or a competition. I say to myself I'm going to loose and then I loose. I need confidence.
what's wrong with the teenager ?! 😅😂 He's distracting me
You are a great teacher . So much has been packed into this video.
Explaining away the questions forming in my mind like the size of the box . You are awesome.
I came because I need to have a self defence skill in martial art.
I wonder how you will handle someone without a shirt.
I am a complete beginner and your video have got me .
Great video, I'm very new on Judo and loved these basics.
Thank you
Into my 5th class. Each class I feel like im getting worse ):
Is it possible to learn judo at home with no partners?
How big is that square on the ground? Or does it matter? I'd like to make one at home to practice.
Domo arigatou gozaimasu, Sensei for this incredible explanation. It was very educational!
