  1. @EvBoxing My only argument is the Michael spinks. I feel like you had to do too much twisting and turning not to give it S tier. Mike Tyson being a bigger after he just beat an all time great bigger man cancels. The way the other big man decided to fight doesn’t make him smaller lol

  2. It’s obvious that Mike was just leaps and bounds ahead of all the heavyweights out there when he was coming up. Had he stayed on his original trajectory? He would’ve been the greatest heavyweight of all time, but when he lost his guidance, it was a rap.. I’ll keep in mind Bruce Seldon was the WBA champion when they fought.

  3. there are extenuating circumstances – Young Mike Tyson was on a trajectory to be The Most Dominant Fighter of our generation, and therefore in the running for all time . . . After Cus died, tyson was destroyed by the boxing company he was keeping . . . with more Cus and/or maybe a little more proper guidance then he fulfills more of that destiny.

  4. gets 8 points for beating a out of retirement as tupac said flabby and sick larry holmes and another 8 points for beating a about to retire light heavyweight mike spinks………………….. he shouldnt have got those 8 points—especially for holmes….holmes was not a 8 point fighter at the time

  5. It's always been odd to me that Rocky Marciano and the Klitchskos always get an asterisk on their careers because of "lack of competition". Wonder why that is… Also. it occurs to me that if you're orders of magnitude beyond your competition, it's a sign of greatness, not mediocrity.

  6. im 61 and saw all of mike's career. from what i remember mike was a boxer that would help his opponent up after knocking him down, early in his career. but people kept labeling him a monster, an animal a killer in gloves. i really think mike just wanted to give people what they wanted. at the end you could see the real mike. he was just sorry he disappointed his followers.

  7. You got a lot of stuff factually wrong there. He lost to Lewis in R8, not R6. Bruce Seldon was WBA champion when he lost to Tyson, so 5 of his opponents were reigning champions, not 4. There's more but I wasn't taking notes.

  8. Mike the professional fighter one of the best of all time. Mike the entertainer not anything but millions of views. Look up Lenox Lewis interview on Mike in his prime he says it all, before Mike was framed we all dodged him but you can't have that long a lay off and dominate like you did, now it's my time lol
