  1. Okay, that's enlightening. But can anyone explain to me pls why not record some of these on-stage. while filming it? I mean they record actors voices and all, but can't take the sound of a lion scratching a carpet?

  2. I'm so glad he considered the weight of the horses in creating the foley for True Grit! It's one of my favourite things about watching a horse run; that thundering through the ground. With how important horses are to the setting and story of that film, it's good to achieve thet kind of detail. It sounds wonderful!

  3. If you see a film in the cinema stay for ALL the credits.
    You get to appreciate ALL those who put their input into the making of the film.
    Give them the respect they deserve.

  4. Why do they still need to make these noises? Shouldn’t they have enough recordings made during the last 70 years of film making? Is there any noise in the world that hasn‘t already been recorded? 🤔
