Thank you this Doco was amazing & the sound track to my life. You did this so well!!
I saw AC/DC 1976 in a small cumunity 30 minutes outside Swedens third biggest city……They was completely unknown and have to play on the small scen in Hollviken/Rotundan!!!!They was playing very load and not so many want to se them……Expect Danne Strahed who was a singer in a band called Chinox!!!!Bon and Danne become close friends after this…..Bon was a background singer in a similiar band in Australia…..The Valantines!!!
Excellent doc! I've read about the bands that didn't crack the market in the US but this doc finally let me hear them. And I've always loved that stark Vanda & Young production – the best AC/DC albums will always be Powerage and Let There Be Rock AFAIC. Lots of details here that I wasn't aware of before…I was transfixed. Bravo!
I came for ACDC but the start of the doco was fantastic
With 3 chords
I love AC/DC and other Aussie acts. I listen to them everyday at least once. No lie. Beautiful and touching documentary.
I love that Mark kept supporting AC/DC despite being out of the band, like going to that show in Australia with Brian. What a guy ♥
Angus Young wasnt 16 in 1974. He was 19.
Aerosmith was never the biggest band in America, and Joe Perry sucks as a guitarist.
ACDC. Thank you. Knowledge is power. Bravo
1:10:35 anyone know what the name of the song is in the background?
That family had to be tough.. They were about 3 feet tall.
Absolutely brilliant doco, could not take my eyes off the screen..
ACCADACCA does exactly what it says on the tin
Rocks the Toon
💪💪💪👍👍👍
Im 60yr
❤❤❤AC/DC
It’s so difficult to understand English/Australian lingo. It’s worth hanging in there to understand history
AC/DC Greatness! What a time to be alive, the people had no choice but to live in reality and the rawness of it all!
That video of Let There Be Rock is the greatest video of AC/DC LIVE , the greatest live band of all time , To hear Joe Elliott describe the entire balcony moving like it was , OMG that's pure human electricity from the fans , literally about to bring the house down , thank God it didn't collapse, But that is exactly what AC/DC is , I'm 62 and Angus Young is the greatest guitar player I've ever seen, Seen them many times over the years , most recent was the Rose Bowl in Cali , the show so loud and the greatest live show ever , Angus I love ya brother . AC/DC Fan for ever , Robert
I grew up in the same suburbs of Sydney in this era…what a fantastic documentary…best ever! Thank you.
I was lucky enough to recored in Alberts many decades ago, I'm a drummer and the band I was in at the time scored the session times when no one booked. Oh man, I'll never forgot my times at the studio and the sound that was produced. Saddly none of the recordings are around anymore.
Little known fact about AC/DC hiring Brian Johnson. When they did, they brought him to meet Bon's mother to get her approval. If she didnt approve, Johnson wouldn't get the gig. Turns out she liked Johnson very much. They'd visit her and bring her to gigs whenever they where in town, right till the end.
George Young is such a cool guy giving his younger brother his nice guitar 🎸
"LOVE IS IN THE AIR"…..One of the original "Adult/Contemporary-Pop" Songs.
I was fortunate to catch AC /DC when they first hit the US in a small venue amazing! I had liked the Easybeats thanks to a older cousin! Im a guitarist and I immediately knew the guitar duo had a winning formula! Malcolm's thunder rhythm and Angus's LIGHTNING riffs Bon fronting seen them 4 times since just last week in Detroit 🎸 😎
We saw ACDC with Brian Johnson at the NEC Birmingham, in 1982 I think. We were sitting at the back of the auditorium on the tiered seats. The woman directly behind me was standing and headbanging all the way through. She had long red hair and if I stood up her hair would flash about 30cm past my head in time to the music! If I sat down I would get her knees in my back in time to the music! Great concert!
Its time for a AC/DC movie, Queen did it ! Do it while some are still alive ! Lord knows who would get cast though
"Sorry" was the first record I ever bought. I gave it to my older sis for Christmas in '66.
