  1. do you guys think ab exercises like the ones shown here are "safe" to perform?

I'm asking 'cause I've noticed some fear mongering for abs/core exercises that require flexion at the lower back (and can put stress on it), like sit-ups etc
I don't know if I'm just being paranoid about it 😕

  2. and its probably because you are very young. the younger someone is the less pain is often felt. Not to say that exercising correctly doesn't help with staying healthy.
    But age is a factor

  3. dear Bioneer….I love calistenics…but due to my 6,4F and 180pounds – calistenics doesn´t love me back 🙁 …I´ve always been an athlet – so I can do handstand routines, rope jumping n such….but physics is a merciless bitch LOL…could you do a video explaining how body size & height plays into all this? If I do a pull up or squad (fuuuull range of motion) it´s actually double the effort as those shorter guys (who mostly do half reps due to no full motion)….keep up the good work – greets

  4. Grant has good movement skill but severely lacks in his understanding of the human body.

Your ‘core’ isn’t supposed to lengthen & extend repeatedly. Your actual core are your hands, jaw & feet. What you call core is primarily for isometric tension or quick concentric movement

  5. I recently started doing this. I noticed if I did traditional ab exercises my lower belly would pouch out. I came across this technique and it seems to be getting flatter. It’s a really good technique for sure. Never tried the workouts though.
